Huge congratulations are in order as actor Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria have shared the most wonderful baby news.
The actor and his wife have revealed that they are expecting their fourth baby.
The doting parents shared the news on Instagram by posting the same photo of their sweet family.
Hilaria wrote, “Our Baldwinitos are getting a new teammate this spring.”
The mum continued, “I’m gonna make them a special cake to tell them if it’s a boy or a girl...I’ll post it tomorrow midday.”
She admitted that the family are so excited to meet their new brother or sister next Spring.
Alec kept things simple and captioned his photo, “Here we go again...”
The couple is set to announce the gender of their baby on Saturday afternoon. We cannot wait to find out if they’ll be having another boy or another girl.
Alec and Hilaria have three children together- 4-year-old Cameron, 2-year-old Rafael and 1-year-old Leonardo.
Alec also has another daughter- 22-year-old Ireland- from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.
Alec can’t wait to welcome another child into the world, but he recently opened up about having children at an older age.
He told The Hollywood Reporter, “It's a very LSD-trip phase of my life. My daughter is obsessed with Peppa Pig. This is my life.”
Alec admitted that having three children under the age of five when you’re nearing your 60th birthday can be overwhelming.
Alec isn’t alone in having children at a later stage in life. According to a study released this summer, dads in America are slightly older by approximately three and a half years.
The experts found that the number of new dads who were over 40 rose from four percent to eight percent.
They also found that the number of new dads who were over 50 shot up from less than one percent to one in every 100.
The researchers believed that one of the main reasons people are having children at an older age is because of education. More people are focusing on their studies or in Alec’s case his career.
The Beetlejuice star has been acting since 1980. He has starred in some of the biggest movies from The Shadow to Pearl Harbour.
He recently starred in the family film The Boss Baby where he voiced the main character Theodore Lindsey Templeton, also known as The Boss Baby who is a baby with the mind of an adult.
Alec revealed that his younger children influence his acting roles today. He told The Hollywood Reporter that fatherhood has made him fussier about what parts he will agree to.
We cannot wait for the Emmy award winner to become a dad again.
