Apparently, Harrison Ford is a hero off-screen, too! The 75-year-old lived up to his cinematic image this Sunday when he rescued a 63-year-old woman from a car crash, the VC Star reports.

The rollover accident occurred at about 11 am in Santa Paula, California. The woman, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, lost control of her car and it rolled over, hitting a tree.

The legendary movie star and his friend heard the car crash. The Fugitive actor and others helped the woman out of her vehicle.

"He acted as a good Samaritan, just like everybody else, and tried to help before emergency services arrived," Senior Officer Matt Alonzo of the Santa Paula Police Department said to the VC Star.

The woman thankfully escaped with only minor injuries. It is unknown what caused her to lose control of her vehicle, but the accident is being investigated.

The rescue occurred near the Santa Paula Airport. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Harrison was there earlier that day as he is a pilot and loves flying.

The father-of-five had his own terrifying accident two years ago when the engine failed in a plane he was flying. The Blade Runner star had to make an emergency landing and was sent to the hospital with multiple broken bones.

The Academy Award-nominated actor rose to fame playing now-classic heroes, including Han Solo in Star Wars and Indiana Jones in the eponymous series.

It’s amazing to see that he’s a real-life hero too!
