American kids may have a world of choice in their supermarkets, but one YouTube channel decided to broaden their culinary horizons by having children stateside try Irish foods.
The video had us in STITCHES!
The REACT channel, part of Fine Brothers Entertainment, challenged American children to try foods like Tayto sandwiches and Ballymaloe relish as a part of their ‘Kids v. Food’ series.
Upon seeing the crisp sandwich one little girl exclaimed, “It’s chips on a sandwich! That’s literally the coolest thing ever!”
I think she means crisps, but yes they are the coolest!
Other kids were not so impressed. One child in the REACT video said, “Chips are supposed to be eaten on their own, or at least with dips or salsa.”
We respectfully disagree, but it’s fun to see what American kids think of Irish food!
