Amy Childs gets real about how she feels about her post-baby body

Amy Childs has spoken before about how her body changed after the birth of her two kids.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star is mum to two gorgeous tots - two-year-old Polly and her seven-month-old son, whose name is yet to be revealed.

She has been open about her struggle with body confidence following the pregnancies and births, but now the 28-year-old has said that she's not feeling great with her body at the minute.

She said, ''Because I’ve had the baby, I don’t think, 'I look amazing.'''

She continued, ''You still have a bit of baby weight on you, which could take six months or up to a year to shift. I wouldn’t say I love my figure because I don’t.”

Being in the public eye has added pressure on her to look good and she says that it has caused her to be harder on herself.

She said, ''When I go out and get papped and they catch you on the worst days when you’ve got no make-up on, you start judging yourself.''

She continued, ''And I think things like, “I need to lose a bit of weight.” But I’m a strong person. As long as you feel good in yourself, that’s the main thing.''

She does have have a favourite part of her body though - her arms - while she least likes her stomach.

She said, ''The thing I need to work on is my mum tum! I’ve had two babies and it’s the hardest bit.”

We think most mums can relate to the battle with their body image and we applaud Amy for being so candid about the reality of it all.
