They are starring alongside each other in new movie The Hitman’s Bodyguard, and it seems Ryan Reynolds and Salma Hayek well and truly hit it off in real life.
Salma, 50, took to Instagram to share a sweet insight into bonding time with the actor and his family, posting a gorgeous photo from a recent dinner date at the Reynolds-Lively household.
The actress shared a snapshot of herself holding the couple’s youngest child, 10-month-old Ines, while cooking dinner.
“When your friends invite you for dinner, and you end up doing all the work,” she joked, tagging it for Throwback Thursday.
While Salma can be seen gazing adorably at little Ines, it seems proud papa Ryan is doing what he does best in the background – entertaining!
The photo gained plenty of love on the social media platform, and it seems fans are as much in love with Blake and Ryan’s choice of utensils as they are with the actors’ friendship.
Salma is, of course, a mum herself – to nine-year-old daughter Valentina. She recently opened up about the importance of motherhood in her own life.
“I had a child late in life. I always wanted to have a lot of children, and I was not able to,” she told Red magazine.
“My body, as a miracle, had one. The huge blessing I’ve had is that my husband has three other children. So, I have four, and they are all different.”
Salma was referring to her husband of eight years, businessman Francois-Henri Pinault. Pinault has children Augustin, Mathilde and Francois Jr., from his first marriage.
The doting mum also opened up recently about the life lessons she is teaching her daughter – and they differ from what she, herself, learned from her own mother.
In an interview with Hola! magazine, she admitted: “I don’t say the sort of things to Valentina that my mum said to me, because her life is different.
“What my mum taught me was very important to me, but I don’t pass that on to my daughter, because she needs the opposite.”
Given just how cool Salma, Ryan and Blake all seem, we wouldn’t mind being a fly on the wall at their next dinner date!
