An Post has issued their final deadlines for Christmas postage and they’re a lot sooner than you think.
The postal service has urged the public to be hasty if they are planning to send cards and gifts abroad this Christmas.
They have advised people to send packages to mainland Europe before the weekend in order for them to arrive on time.
Tuesday, December 18 has been confirmed as the final day to ensure card delivery to mainland Europe.
Post for the United Kingdom should be sent by Tuesday, December 18.
Cards and parcels for Irish addresses should be sent by Wednesday, December 19.
An Post stressed the importance of putting a return address on all cards and letters this Christmas to make sure they put a return address on all post just incase it isn’t delivered.
