The festive season is all about attending lots of parties and while we’ll never say no to a good night out, it also means we’ll have to put in a bit of extra work the next morning to ensure we still manage to look our best.

If you are having a night out, whether you had a few glasses of wine or not, these tips will ensure you look your best even after only a few hours of sleep

Drink lots of water

Make sure you drink plenty of water in the morning. Not only will this help flush out any toxins it will also make your skin look brighter and you’ll feel more awake.

Be careful about what you eat

Don’t binge on fatty foods like a fry that will play havoc on your skin, instead stick with fruit and porridge.

Give your skin a good clean

As soon as you get up make sure you give your skin a good deep clean to rid it of any leftover make up from the night before. Being tired can make your skin look dull and lack lustre so a good exfoliator will really help to brighten it up.

Moisturise

Make sure you generously apply lots of moisturiser to your skin to stop it feeling dry and tight and to ensure it feels soft and supple.

Eye drops

Eye drops can make your eyes look brighter and more awake, so if you have some pop them in. Cold cucumbers or tea bags also work really well.
