Giving birth is an emotional and hectic time, so you’d be forgiven for accidently sending a text message to the wrong number, which is what happened to this couple in Florida.

On Saturday, 19th March, Dennis Williams from Tallahassee received a text message from an unknown number, according to People.

The text informed Dennis that a couple, Lindsey and Mark Knox, were at the hospital, and the mum-to-be was “dilated to between 5-6 [sic]”.

Writing back, Dennis informed them that they had texted the wrong number.

However, his reply message, which appears to be part of a group text, went unnoticed and the couple sent a picture of Lindsey and Baby Cason.

They eventually realised their mistake, but not before Dennis and his brother, Deorick, had got sucked in, and insisted on showing up with gifts to congratulate the new family!

The story was uploaded to Facebook by the person who send the original text message, and was shared by Deorick on his page:

What a wonderful story, this is definitely one for the baby book!
