One of Blake Lively’s first movie roles was as part of the now iconic The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, which documented her onscreen bond with co-stars Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel and America Ferrera.

It seems that that bond well and truly translated off-screen for the actresses, however, as the details of a recent interview prove.

Amber Tamblyn has revealed that not only are the four stars extremely close in real life; but she, Bledel and Ferrera are in fact the godmothers of Blake’s daughter James.

It was singer and presenter Nick Lachey who brought the subject up during an interview on VH1’s Morning Buzz Live, asking Tamblyn: “You’re still very close with your co-stars and the three of you are godmothers to Blake Lively’s baby – is that a fact?”

To rapturous applause from the audience, Tamblyn replied: “Yes, that is a fact.”

This comes after Tamblyn recently revealed how Green Lantern star Blake played a prank on her in order to introduce her to little James.

Speaking to People magazine after James’ birth, Tamblyn revealed that Blake tricked her into coming around to her house to meet her daughter, by asking her to come and view wallpaper.

“She was texting me about wallpaper. She was like, ‘You gotta come see my new wallpaper’, and I went up there, and there was her baby!” she said.

This is such a sweet gesture by Blake. Little James is one lucky girl.
