Even if your mum is regarded as the coolest woman on the planet - and is Beyonce - Blue Ivy Carter proved at last night's Grammy Awards that no mum is immune from being told to stop showing up their kids.

The six-year-old may have rubbed shoulders with some of the biggest stars in the music industry at the prestigious award show, but it's clearly she that rules the roost as she was caught on camera telling her parents to 'shush' and stop clapping as they applauded former Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabello during her speech on immigration.

And the Internet noticed - and LOVED IT.

The power couple - who recently welcomed twins Sir and Rumi - looked bemused as their daughter bowed her head - in what can only be assumed is a gesture of mortification - and made 'calm down' gestures with her hands.

Fans praised Blue Ivy for calling the shots, with one tweeting: “Blue let them know who’s REALLY in charge here.”

So, the moral of the story is, don't clap until Blue Ivy tells you too- and that includes you Queen B.
