Thanks so much for letting me take part in the trial, I hadn't actually heard about BuyersClub.ie before, and it's great to try something new, and even better when you know you're supporting an Irish company.
I was totally new to the site, but I found it really easy to use. Everything is sorted into categories and you can also do a search for an item name or brand.
There is a fantastic range of non-perishable items available - I really didn't think they'd have that much but they do, and I especially liked the sections for party accessories - super handy when you have 3 kids' birthday parties to plan in the next month! :) And the toys and games section is brilliant - ridiculously handy for those endless birthday party presents.
The prices are definitely cheaper than the supermarket, and having made my order, I checked it against my last supermarket receipt - and I definitely made a saving on everything I bought e.g. rice cakes, dishwasher tablets, pet food (Pedigree Dentastix), formula and nappies etc all cheaper.
I found everything I was looking for, but I would have one suggestion... I hope that's ok. I think it would be a good idea to add in a 'section' for gluten free foods. There is a good selection of gluten free products stockd, but I only found them when I searched the words, I think adding a gluten free section would be fantastic.
You can get free delivery over €50 which is fantastic (although to be fair delivery charge is pretty cheap), and you get it next day for orders before 2pm. This is unbelievably handy for a mum of three - especially buying heavy groceries every week, it's nice to have them delivered to my door instead of me having to lug them around.
I will definitely use BuyersClub.ie again - it saved me money and time. It's really handy to do a shop from home and have it delivered the next day - especially when you're running low on the essentials like nappies or tissue. And I can't stress how handy it is for stocking up on games/toys/books for kids' parties - this is a huge help.
Great service, great prices. Happy mum.
Thanks again!
I have just placed and received my first order from BuyersClub.ie. I had been planning on placing an order with them and this was a great opportunity to try them for the first time. I found their website very easy to navigate. I liked the drop down banner where I could click on "Food Cupboard" or "Household" and then use the sub-section of listed products making it easier to search. For example all the Cereals displayed together. There was also a search option for a particular product.
I liked their special offer section where I could see all the offers in one place. I think their prices are cheaper than other supermarkets. Some products have a greater saving than others. I got a great saving on Olive oil. I think if you are going to spent over €50 and avail of the free shipping that you would make a great saving.
I found everything that I was looking for but I would like to see a bigger section of American products. I was able to fill in a form online to recommend some products that I would like to see them stock. I got back an email thanking me for my recommendations and they will let me know if they can get my products on their site.
It was great to get some heavy products delivered to my door with a very quick delivery. On opening my order I realized that two of the items were incorrect. I emailed them and had a response straight away with an apology. Within an hour someone was at my door with the correct products. I was very impressed how quickly they rectified this and the speed they reacted would definitely encourage me to make further orders.
Overall I was very impressed with their products and service and would recommend them to my family/friends. I will be placing an order again and look forward to them added more products to their site.

BuyersClub trial feedback
01/03/2013 14:14
I had heard about BuyersClub on the radio before, but never thought of actually trying it for myself.
Being a mother to three children aged 4, 8 and 12 there is always somewhere else I need to be other than at the supermarket – with dinners to prepare, kids to pick up and drop off and a dog to feed too! So, needless to say, I was excited to try out this service.
The website was very easy to navigate, with products divided into a variety of categories for ease of use. It also had a search bar where you could type in the name of a product or the brand you were looking for.
I was super impressed with the offers available at BuyersClub.ie. When I had finished my €50 shop, I realised I had saved almost €20 – which was great news, as every penny counts these days. I was very impressed with the savings on big brands Pedigree Dentastix, Herbal essences and Lavazza Rossa coffee.
I placed my order at 1pm on Wednesday and received my order by 10.30am on Thursday morning – I was amazed at how quickly the order was processed. Nothing was missing from the box and I was happy with how it was packaged etc. It really saved me the hassle of freeing up time to make it to the shop. It was just a matter of unpacking the box.
I will definitely consider using BuyersClub.ie again in the future.
I was very excited to try out the site. I am not an online shopper at all and i have never ordered my food shop online so i was really excited to get the chance to do so. I also had never heard of the site.
I was quite impressed, there was a good stock of items and the website was super easy to navigate around.
The american food section is brilliant. My children love the Kraft Mac and Cheese and it can be expensive to buy when you can find it over here but the buyers club had the large family box for the price you normally pay for a single serving box. There was bargains to be had, especailly in the kids section.
I found the toiletries the best savings. Stuff like the kids shampoo, we got a Disney tangled huge bottle of shampoo for 1.50!, shower gels and toothpaste were great value. I also bought a 200ml veet cream for 6euro Normally costs me 8-10 euro for the 100ml in dunnes so that was great value. We purchased a good bit of stuff like shower gels and shaving stuff for the hubby as it was great value.
There are some great deals to be found on the site. I saved 15 euro total on the items i purchased. I ordered on tuesday and the stuff arrived on thursday morning.
I am not sure the site is for me, although i will use the site again to order the Kraft items and some of the toiletry items. My only one negative is that my list of shopping wasnt included in the box and i had to log on to go through to make sure i had got everything. But apart from that it was easy to use and may suit a family with a bigger shop required each week.
thanks for including me in the trial, i really enjoyed the experience of ordering the food shop online!
Really enjoyed being part of this trial, thanks for selecting me. With a household of three boys I always seem to be shopping! :)
I often shop online, but I hadn't heard of Buyers Club. The website is set up very well, it's clear and easy to use. There does seem to be savings on pretty much everything, and there's also a special offer section with lots of genuine offers on day to day necessities - you can also search Irish products, which is a really nice feature. I often do different shops in different places depending on the value, and I can confidently say there is great value on food items on buyersclub.ie, including Dolmio Pasta Sauces, Heinz spaghetti hoops, Rice Cakes, Special K cereal, Wagon Wheels for example. There was also brilliant value on non-food items like Lynx, Fairy Liquid, Comfort Fabric Conditioner, Gillette shaving foam, Herbal Essences shampoo - on some of these items there was a significant saving. I found everything I was looking for on the site, it was really easy to use, and delivery was free over 50E. I got my delivery no bother. It all couldn't have been easier. I will deifnitely be using BuyersClub again and would recommend it without hesitation to other mums. Thanks so much for letting me take part.
