This dramatic season of Celebrity Big Brother is finally over after Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas was crowned this year’s winner.
And after almost a month of being away from family, the former contestants are allowed to return home to their normal lives.
Being cut off from the world is a test of endurance, especially if you are a parent like Dan Osborne.
The TOWIE star reached the reality show’s final stage and was awarded third place.
But the father missed his children during his stay in the Big Brother house and was often caught on camera tearing up while thinking about his children.
The father-of-two missed his family dearly and dreamt of the day they could finally be reunited.
Yesterday, the doting dad finally returned home to find his little girl Ella waiting in the front garden for her daddy.
The three-year-old legged it into his arms as he scooped her up in a loving hug. Both were grinning ear-to-ear.
Little Ella had been longing for her daddy to return home and was overjoyed when they were reunited.
“My baby girl when I pulled up today. Missed my babies so much!!!” the father said.
The next day the doting dad surprised his son Teddy as well.
“Just had a lovely evening with my little man. I surprised him and went round to him, he came to the door, shouted Daddy, held me and cried, set me right off so we just cried together for 5 minutes.
“Then spent the rest of the evening having fun and laughing... I am so so lucky to be loved the way I am by my beautiful children!
“’I’m sorry [Big Brother] but if you ever want me again you’re gonna have to have the whole family in there cause there is no way I’m leaving these without contact again,” Dan said.
Dan wasn’t the only CBB parent to receive a heartwarming welcome. Winner Ryan Thomas surprised his daughter at school with hugs and kisses, as they wrapped one another up in a big bear hug.
We are so happy for all the Celebrity Big Brother contestants that get to spend much-needed time with their families.
