51-year-old model Elle McPherson came clean when recently asked to reveal the strangest item in her handbag by the London Evening Standard.
Unlike the rest of us who carry an assortment of items, including children's toys and chocolate buttons for emergencies, this mum from Australia is a little different.
Answering the question with refreshing honesty, Elle said: "A pH balance urine tester kit to check that I’m in an alkaline state."
Revealing the reason behind her interesting kit, the beautiful blonde said: "I believe that most ailments come from having an acidic body."
Elle has made no secret of her interest in keeping fit and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, so while the rest of us may check out Big Ben and stunning boutiques when we hit the busy streets of London, Elle does something a little different.
According to the 6 foot star, she pays a visit to an array of experts, saying: "I visit my nutritionist Dr. Simone Laubscher on Harley Street and Shirley and Dr. Sebagh’s clinic for lymphatic drainage!"
