Compelled to defend her eldest child Harvey against cruel online trolls, Katie Price took to Instagram this afternoon to highlight the severity of her son's numerous conditions.
Appealing to the public to treat her 13-year-old son with the respect he so richly deserves, Katie uploaded an email she was sent by Great Ormond Street hospital which outlines Harvey's diagnoses.
Katie clarified her reasoning for doing this by writing: "People keep picking on Harvey about his weight and speech."
Clearly devastated by the abuse her son has suffered at the hands of strangers, Katie pleaded with the public to give her son "a break".
The mum-of-five, who must be heartbroken by the cruel jibes levelled at her son on a regular basis, finished the heartfelt post by writing: "If you sick people still want to pick on him then you need mental help yourselves."
Katie, who gave birth to Harvey in 2002, has often spoken of her son's conditions and insists that while life can be incredibly difficult, the bond she shares with her eldest boy is incredibly special.
In a second post uploaded moments after the original one, 37-year-old Katie shared another list of the conditions her son lives with on a daily basis before asking the public to "leave her son alone".
Katie's touching posts have amassed thousands of likes in mere hours, with one supportive fan assuring the Celebrity Big Brother contestant: "Most mums wouldn't be able to deal with disabled children. They are sent to us as we are the ones they choose."
We can only imagine how heartbreaking it must be to endure such cruelty at the hands of online trolls.
