We love that Chrissy Teigen is one of the most real women in the Hollywood limelight, reminding us that it is okay to be normal.
The model recently posted her fabulously real “mom bod” on Twitter while on vacation with her family.
She is married to singer John Legend, and they have two children, two-year-old daughter Luna and baby boy Miles.
The Lip Sync Battle host only had baby Miles in May and is pictured breastfeeding him in a full-body photo on their holiday in Bali.
She also posted a video of her tummy on Twitter, showing off her post-childbirth stomach and stretch marks, captioning it “mom bod alert”.

Chrissy posted a nice message on social media reminding moms not to be discouraged by the perfect, model photos that flood our Instagram pages:
“Instagram is crazy. I think it’s awesome people have killer bodies and are proud to show them off (I really do!!)
“but I know how hard it can be to forget what (for lack of a better word) regular ol’ bodies look like when everyone looks bonkers amazing.”

She went on to say that just because she is posting these photos does not mean that she is completely confident in her body image.
The model is still insecure, and she just wanted to “make anyone else out there feel better about themselves!”
also I don’t really call this “body confidence” because I’m not quite there yet. I’m still super insecure. I’m just happy that I can make anyone else out there feel better about themselves!

Chrissy is sending a powerful message to all of us mums that are tired of the glamorous women we see in magazines and all over social media.
Real mothers aren’t a size two with smooth, flawless skin. We just carried another human being in our stomachs for ten months.
We have stretch marks, bumpy skin, cellulite, flabs of flesh, and pee a little bit every time we sneeze. But we also have a brand new baby in our arms that fulfils us in a way we never have been before.
Chrissy’s photos remind us that we are not alone in our imperfections and that those marks were the stepping stones to receiving the best gift life has to offer.
