Coffee and catch-up time: These are Dublins best child-friendly cafes

Trying to find a child-friendly cafe is one thing that causes mums far too much stress, but fear not. Avril of Dublin City Mum has conjured up a list of the greatest cafes that will make coffee and catch up mornings with your fellow mums and mini-mes a lot less stressful.

She has shared the best spots in the capital for mums who need to escape for a latte every now and then.

We’ve all experienced those stressful coffee outings where you can barely fit the buggy in the door and the kids dunk their hands in your perfectly made cappuccino.

This life-saving list is bound to make socialising a lot more manageable than ever before.

IMMA:

This airy spot is perfect for family trips because of how spacious it is. Based on the ground floor of the Irish Museum of Modern Art, the cafe offers plenty of tasty treats that will keep the kids and mum very happy indeed. It is located just outside of the city centre in Kilmainham. Once you’ve finished your coffee you can pop into the stunning gardens that are the best place to explore on a sunny November afternoon.

Brother Hubbard North:

This cafe has a never-ending list of delicious desserts and hearty brunch options, but what really sold this place to us mums is the fact that they supply highchairs. Cafes that accommodate for parents hold a special place in our hearts, especially when they sell dozens of freshly made pastries.

Cinnamon:

This Ranelagh based coffee house is a huge hit with Dubliners and we’re not surprised. It’s cosy, affordable and they even have a kids menu for your tiny tots. Options include Nutella pancakes which are most certainly going to be a crowd pleaser.
