Coleen Rooney hits back at critics who shamed her for giving kids iPads

Coleen Rooney has been shamed for letting her young boys use iPads. After posting a photo of her kids using the devices, the mum was hit with a wave of backlash from followers.

One wrote: “Why are they all using gadgets? Let them run around!”

Another asked: “Why are they all on ipads and not watching football?”

“Why are they not running about?” another questioned.

The mum-of-four was quick to respond to the rude comments. Taking to Twitter, she said: “Calm down, calm down... yes my children have and use iPads!!! And even my 15 month old watches Peppa Pig on one would you believe!!

“They come in handy sometimes and can be very educational. Mathletics and spelling apps are used all the time by Kai and Klay ... check them out.”

She added: “Criticism entertains me sometimes.”

Later in the day Coleen posted a photo of her boys playing in a fountain to keep the ‘parent police’ at bay.

She quipped: “I thought some people might like this one.Half term fun at the park! Lots of running around, stripping off to play in the fountains ... lots of sunscreen on, especially on Cass’s head because he won’t keep a hat on. Have a great day everyone #banter.”

We love how Coleen doesn’t let the mum-shamers get the better of her. She stands her ground and replies with wit and grace.

We all know how hard parenting is so why bother wasting time shaming someone’s parenting decisions.

As mums we should be supporting one another, not judging one another.
