Coleen shares rare photo of a Rooney family day out in Washington

Following the family's big move to Washington to support Wayne's football career, Coleen Rooney and their sons have rarely shared images of their lifestyle Stateside.

Coleen has since shared a rare photo of her brood of four boys enjoying themselves in a Washington park, and it appears the Rooneys have well and truly settled in to their new home.

The famous footballer and his wife of 11 years are pictured on a bench between their lovely sons; nine-year-old Kai, three-year-old Kai, six-year-old Klay and 16-month-old Klass.

"Family day out in Washington," Coleen captioned the image, which shows the happy kids enjoying ice-cream in the capital city of America. Fans were loving the image, noting how big the boys have gotten.

Coleen and Wayne only recently celebrated their wedding anniversary, with the businesswoman sharing a tribute message to her hubby on social media;

"11 years married; It's been a journey. Ups and downs, highs and lows, but you know what, I love you," the mum wrote. It's been barely a year since the family moved to Washington after Wayne landed a contract with D.C. United.

The four boys and their mum have been settling in well, heading on trips to Six Flags America and days out to the football stadium to support their dad.

Coleen emphasised to HELLO! before their 2018 move that American life would be temporary for the boys, adding that she hopes to return to their native UK homeland soon.

"In ten years we will be back in the UK," adding: "I am just excited to watch the kids grow up, see their personalities grow, and seeing them transform into young men."
