There are many complications which can arise from having ptosis. These include:
- Amblyopia (lazy eye), which can lead to vision loss
- Astigmatism
Surgical complications
- Lid asymmetry
- Dry eye
- Infection
- Under correction: suspension materials may dissolve or break, repeat surgery may be required.
