Congratulations are in order! Full House star John Stamos and his fiancee Caitlin McHugh are expecting their first child together, People reports.

"We have the same morals and the same values, that all clicked nicely. So we said, ‘Oh, well, maybe we should have a family,’" the Fuller House actor explained on The Jess Cagle Interview.

Caitlin said that maybe they should have their child before getting married, 'because you're old'. she quipped to John.

The pair has been together for two years and became engaged on October 22 in Disneyland.

The 31-year-old model is a HUGE Disney fan, and John revealed to People that he proposed after a video compilation of the most romantic scenes from Pixar and Disney films.

It ended with Sebastian from the Little Mermaid urging him to 'Go on and ask the girl' - so he did!

John proposed after hearing about the pregnancy.

"The look on John’s face when I told him we were pregnant was priceless. It was the look of a man who has wanted a family of his own but wasn’t sure it was going to happen for him. Now it is!" said Caitlin excitedly.

John shared with People, "I said, I better have a ring on her finger because it’s the right thing to do, and I wanted to marry her anyway. So I called her parents to ask, and it was like, ‘You better!’"

I asked...she said yes! ...And we lived happily ever after

The 54-year-old hunk is ecstatic to finally have his own off-screen family.

"People would say, ‘You should have a child,’ I was like, ‘That ship has sailed'," John confessed.

Now that it's his turn, he is going to really enjoy being a father!

He joked, "I’ll be a fun dad. I’ve been practicing for a long time. I’ve done every schtick you can do with a baby on TV … all the bits and jokes and diaper gags. I’ll probably just do all that stuff."

Congrats to John and Caitlin on their growing family!
