With baby announcement videos flooding our newsfeeds on a daily basis, it's hardly surprising that we think we've seen it all at this stage.
It looks, however, like one couple were determined to take their announcement to the next level in a move which has both horrified and thrilled the public in equal part.
Shunning the standard approach to these kinds of things, Gavin and Judy Holt chose, instead, to channel their inner Wes Craven and create a video which would leave YouTube users quaking in their boots.
With the help of some seriously atmospheric music and some incredible talented feline friends, this couple revealed they were expecting in footage which wouldn't seem out of place in the horror section of any DVD store.
Paying tribute to his wife who had a starring role in the spinetingler, Gavin wrote: "This video may be scary, but starting a family with her is anything but, I love you!"
