Is it teething time for your little one?

It’s the DIY twists on the classics that tend to get our little ones most excited and productive when it comes to crafting, and we have the perfect outdoor project for those longer evenings.

What you will need:

  • Empty bottles/ containers
  • Corn starch
  • Food colouring
  • Water
  • A spoon to stir

  1. Fill your container halfway with corn starch, then add in some food colouring of your choice and give the mixture a stir.
  2. Fill the rest of the container with water, and stir to create the thick paint solution. While there is no set method for mixing, most recipes tend to go for one-part water to one-and-a-half-parts corn starch.
  3. Get the texture just right by adjusting the mixture to suit; if it’s too thick, add water, and add corn starch if it’s too runny.
