Is it teething time for your little one?

This ‘puffy paint’ craft idea will lead to some cool summer works of art that your little ones will love.


What you will need:

  • ¼ cup non-run liquid glue
  • ¾ cup shaving cream
  • ¼ cup flour
  • Food colouring
  • Strong card paper
  • Paintbrushes


What to do:

  1. Mix all of your ingredients together in a bowl until you have that light, ‘puffy’ texture.
  2. This mixture is quite a bit heavier than regular paint, so be sure to apply it to a strong card-like paper.
  3. Rather than just painting a normal picture, take advantage of this cool trick by creating images with ‘puffy’ textures – an ice cream cone, candy floss – the list goes on
