We love celebrity baby news here at MummyPages HQ, and gender reveals are a particular favourite of ours.

What better way to start the day off, then, than by learning the gender of Jessica Alba’s third child!

The 36-year-old Fantastic Four star has revealed that she is expecting a baby boy!

Jessica, who is already mum to nine-year-old Honor and six-year-old Haven, enlisted the help of her daughters for a very sweet blue-themed reveal.

“Cash Warren and I couldn’t be more thrilled to announce…,” she wrote on Instagram, sharing an adorable Boomerang video of her and her girls being showered in blue confetti, streamers and balloons.

Jessica’s feed was flooded with messages of congratulations from her legion of fans, with fellow mums congratulating her over the exciting journey ahead.

The gender reveal is a fitting follow-up to the family’s third pregnancy announcement.

In July, the star took to Instagram to share her wonderful news, holding a number ‘3’ balloon and patting her tummy. Honor and Haven held up balloons number ‘1’ and ‘2’, respectively.

While Jessica is very excited to welcome her third child, she recently admitted that striking the balance between motherhood and running her multi-million Honest company can be draining.

“My kids like me to sing four songs each to them at night and, after a long day of work, all I want to do is eat and decompress,” she said in an interview with Today.

“I love cuddle time, but at the same time, I feel so drained. It’s like there is no ‘me time’. So, I’m like, OK – which kid do I choose first? Is there going to be a fight?

“But it is the only quiet time we get with them, to talk about their day, and they open up in a different way when they are laying down. It’s hard.”

Jessica met her other half, Cash Warren, while filming Fantastic Four in 2004. They married in 2008, before going on to welcome their girls.

The countdown is well and truly on for Jessica and her family – we’re wishing her all the best with the rest of her pregnancy!
