Grandparents are notorious for spoiling their grandchildren. In the case of Ronnie, Danielle Lloyd's youngest boy, his granny and granddad definitely dote on him.

The 34-year-old mum shared a photo on Instagram of what the grandparents bought Ronnie for his first Christmas: a diamond spanner bangle.

The gift was a sentimental one, the model and mum-of-four explained: "Ronnie’s diamond spanner bangle from his nanny and granddad - bet he can’t wait to start fixing up them cars and motorbikes with your granddad and uncle!"

Ronnie was born this September, Danielle's first child with her fiance Michael O'Neill. She has three sons with ex-husband and footballer Jamie O'Hara.

It was certainly a sparkling first Christmas for her littlest one, but some of the former Miss Great Britain's Insta followers were NOT impressed with the gift.

"That will take his eye out. Yes, let's put a pointy metal object round the baby's wrist," cautioned one person.

Another follower said, "Too showy! This is really not needed."

Plenty of people clapped back to the haters, though.

"Baby bangles have been around for years and are traditional in most families!" one person pointed out.

"My son had this bracelet. Don't listen to negative people ... my son was safe with his on," another fan said.

What do you think of the bangle, mums? Have your little ones received similar gifts?
