As you may or may not be aware of, Denmark has been experiencing declining birth rates in recent times, but a national travel company has come up with a novel approach to tackling the issue.

Based on the belief that people tend to have more sex on a sun holiday than other types of vacation, Spies Rejser has produced a tongue-in-cheek ad campaign urging mothers to send their kids away on ‘baby-making holidays’.

For the ‘grandma-broody’ among them, the company offers Danish parents the ‘Spies’ Parent Purchase’ package, which promises a grandchild nine months after their child’s sun holiday.

With a tagline reading, “If they won’t do it for their country, surely they will do it for their mother”, the ‘Do It For Mom’ campaign claims to have sorted one of Denmark’s greatest problems!
