According to emerging reports, much-loved British singer, James Blunt, is due to become a father for the first time.
Having wed wife Sofia Wellesley in September last year, it is understood that the smitten couple are now expecting their first child together.
Bucking the celebrity trend which sees high-profile couples share the big news via social media, it seems the You're Beautiful singer and Sofia are happy to keep things low-key for the time being.
While appearing at the Emeralds & Ivy Ball in Sydney on Friday, the singer, who is currently a judge on Australia's X Factor, appeared reluctant to divulge too many details.
Having reportedly confirmed the news to Australia's Sunday Telegraph newspaper, 41-year-old James wasn't as forthcoming as his fans may have hoped, simply saying: "I try not to talk about it much on the red carpet."
The couple's wedding was held at a small chapel in the town of Campanet, where James' father-in-law owns a property.
