Kevin, who is best known for his roles in television show Lost and movie X Men Origins, shared the wonderful news via his social media channels this week.
Taking to both Twitter and Instagram, the star paid tribute to his wife, Sandra Cho, and introduced their beautiful baby daughter to his legions of fans and followers.
Uploading a back and white shot of himself tenderly cradling his little girl, Kevin wrote: “My wife SandraDurand23 and I are so proud to announce that we became parents yesterday!”
Revealing his little one’s chosen name, 41-year-old Kevin finished the post by saying: “Amélie Moon Durand is here! So grateful and happy. #loveandgoodnesstoall”
Messages of congratulations have flooded in since the photo's recent upload, with one fan writing: "Congratulations to you and Sandra! You both will make amazing parents and it already looks like she has you wrapped around her tiny finger!"
Kevin and Sandra tied the knot on October 1st 2010.
