According to reports, Kate Middleton has been keeping a ‘hope chest’ for her son George and his soon-to-be born little brother or sister, full of special memories and mementos from the late Diana’s life.
A source told OK! magazine: “It’s kind of like a dowry or hope chest and has things in there that the boys have kept from when their mother was alive. She’s still her babies’ grandmother and wants them to understand just how special she was to the world.”
Among the items the Duchess has been keeping inside the chest for her little ones are photographs and jewellery.
The Duchess doesn’t have too much longer to wait until her second child makes his or her appearance, with the rumoured due date set for April 25.
While there has been no formal announcement, rumour is rife that Kate and Prince William are set to welcome a baby girl.
The excitement must be really starting to set in now. We can’t wait for this little one’s arrival!
