It certainly has been a busy few days in the world of showbiz, particularly for those mums and mums-to-be, and now we have another sweet report to kick-start your Saturday.

Congratulations are in order today, with Eastenders actress Natalie Cassidy announcing that she is expecting her second child.

The 32-year-old took to her social media channels last night to share the good news, revealing that she and fiancé Marc Humphreys are very excited to be welcoming their first child together.

The star, famous for playing the role of Sonia Fowler for many years now, tweeted: “Evening all…Time to let everyone know that Marc and I are having a baby in the summer. The three musketeers become four.”

Natalie is, of course, already mum to five-year-old Eliza; her daughter from her previous relationship with Adam Cottrell.

A source close to the actress previously hinted that baby news could be on the horizon, recently telling Closer magazine: “Finding love with Marc has given her a whole new lease of life. She’s even hinted that she may be ready to be a mum again, as she’d love a brother or sister for Eliza.”

Congratulations to the family on their wonderful news.

SHARE to spread the love today for Natalie at this very special time.
