Jenelle Evans has regained custody of her children after a court battle. The mum said she is ecstatic to have her kids back.
The Teen Mom 2 star told People, “I am ecstatic to regain custody of my kids back!”
“Throughout this long process and final decision, I am excited to be moving forward and continuing to show America I’m a good parent,” the 27-year-old stressed.
Shortly after she regained custody, the mum-of-three took to Twitter to express her delight. She said, “Crying tears of joy” on Wednesday, July 3.
Jennelle is mum to nine-year-old Jace, five-year-old Kaiser and two-year-old Ensley.
According to sources, a judge in Jenelle’s custody trial stated that her son Kaiser and daughter Ensley will be returned to their mum.
However, Jenelle’s mum Barbara Evans still has custody of her nine-year-old son Jace.
Jenelle and her partner David Eason lost custody of the three children after he shot and killed their family dog at their home.
The reality star penned an emotional statement when she lost custody of her children. She stressed that no matter what happened, the relationship she has with her kids will never fade.
“It’s the little things in life. With everything that has been going on lately, I’ve come to realize a child’s love for their mother will never fade.”
She stressed: “No distance, no time, no person can change that special love. This necklace was given to me by my little bubba, Kaiser. He told me he wanted mommy to “match his.”
