Is it teething time for your little one?
Back by popular demand, Lidl has made our day by announcing its amazing Greek range will hit shelves this May.
Foodies know that Greek cuisine is among the best the Mediterranean has to offer – and let’s not forget the amazing health benefits of those vegetable-rich dishes. Lidl’s Eridanous range is packed with lots of new and exciting products to help you create the ultimate Greek feast.
If you love to cook, use Lidl’s traditional Greek Halloumi Cheese (225g, €2.99) to make our amazing Stuffed Peppers with Halloumi and Cous Cous or grab their Tzatziki Dip (500g, €1.99) which is the perfect accompaniment for our Greek Pita Burgers.
If you’re short on time and want dishes you can just pop in the oven with minimal effort, the range also includes Beef Meatballs with Greek Spices (320g, €2.49), Chicken, Spinach and Feta Cheese Parcels (400g, €3.99) and Greek Style Lamb Koftas (400g,€3.99). Lidl is known for its commitment to sourcing meats locally, so all of the Greek-themed meat, fish and poultry products have been sourced from Irish suppliers.
And for the adventurous, there’s Lidl’s succulent Octopus Pieces in Spicy Tomato Sauce (160g, €1.79).
With summer just around the corner, the Eridanous selection is perfect for anyone hosting a sunny dining experience. Inspired by the culinary traditions of both East and West, Lidl’s Greek range is fresh and full of flavour.
From their delicious Rice Stuffed Vine Leaves (280g, €1.79), tasty Tzatziki Salad (250g, €1.49) and juicy Kalamata Olives (370ml, €1.99), Mum’s job is made easier when preparing for a casual gathering of friends or a good-weather barbeque.
While the Greeks are famous for their tasty savoury dishes, they also have some amazing sweet dishes, such as their Baklava with Walnuts (390g, €3.99) – a classic Greek pastry made with filo pastry, cinnamon-spiced nut filling and sweet syrup.
The Eridanous range will go on sale in Lidl stores nationwide from Monday 11th May – grab them while stocks last!
