Former Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge has admitted that she and husband Wayne find it hard to keep the spark alive in the bedroom.

Wayne previously boasted about their sex life during a stint on I’m a Celebrity Get me out of Here but added that since having children they haven’t been quite so amorous.

The couple have two young sons, Carter and Parker and they have been married for three years.

Frankie conceded that she’s not always in the mood on the Channel 4 show Married to a Celebrity.

During a candid interview, Frankie explained: “Every relationship will have this same issue. Everyone is tired”.

She went on to explain that Wayne doesn’t listen to her when she’s not in the mood for sex.

The former pop singer said: “You may have even said ‘babe I’ve got a headache’ or ‘I’m tired’ …goes straight in one ear and out the other!”

She added that Wayne thinks “it’s a really good idea to put the moves on, at like, two in the morning!"

Frankie continued: “If that’s what you want, then go for it three hours earlier!”

However, Wayne was quick to challenge her accusations, saying that the couple could pre-arrange a time to have sex but Frankie was against this.

“I don't like booking it in. I like a bit of spontaneity,” Frankie responded.

“You like spontaneity but you moan about it when I’m doing it,” Wayne pointed out.

“I still want a bit of romance, but just not when I have a headache,” an exasperated Frankie replied. “You do have a lot of headaches...” Wayne teased his wife.

It’s not the first time Wayne has been so vocal about the couple’s sex life on national TV.

Last year, as part of a challenge on I’m a Celebrity… Wayne and his camp-mates were asked: ‘What percentage of UK couples say they have better sex after becoming parents – 53 or 47?’

Wayne, 37, was totally taken aback when he found out that the answer was 53 percent, and exclaimed: “For me, it f***in ain’t!”

While Wayne lamented the demise of his sex life, an embarrassed Frankie took to Twitter writing: “Just stop talking…I’m begging you!”

What do you think mums? Can you sympathise with Frankie?
