Fairy Clean & Care have partnered with Skin Care experts from Olay to bring a simple beauty regime to your daily housework routine. Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay Softness is a first for dishwashing products and seeks to bring beauty science technology to your kitchen sink. The scientists and experts from Olay and Fairy have worked together on this product upgrade to provide a daily solution to make your hands feel noticeably softer and smoother as you do the dishes.
But the question is does it actually work? MummyPages decided to recruit some mums to test out Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay to see if this new product really does leave your hands feeling noticeable soft. We sent out our mummy testers a bottle of the original Fairy and a bottle of Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay Softness.

“I usually use gloves when I’m doing the wash up as otherwise my hands get very dry. When I did the tests for the week I took off my gloves (although I was wary of doing it). I found that my hands were definitely not as dry as they usually are. So I did find that the liquid made my hands softer and not as dry.”
“I found the Fairy Clean & Care did a great job with washing the dishes. Even when I did the dishes after the dinner and I had greasy frying pans and dishes they were clean and not greasy at the end of the wash up.”
“I think this would be better value than other brands as it would last longer. I put one squirt of the liquid in at the start of the wash and that was all I had to put in for the whole wash. Sometimes if I use other brands I have to put in a second squirt near the end.”

“I found that my hands did feel softer after using Fairy with a touch of Olay. I felt both the Original and touch of Olay Fairy had the same effect on my dishes and wouldn’t rate one over the other. “
“I did however feel I was using more of the Olay compared to the little squirt of original liquid to achieve the same amount of bubbles so I would go through the Olay bottle quicker. I did, however, prefer the smell and feel of Olay and would buy it again because it was more pleasant to use....a little touch of luxury by the sink.”

“In true Fairy style, my dishes were sparkling and I must say it’s great on lifting thick grease. It also leaves a fab smell in the entire kitchen, not just on my hands and the dishes. Really, you only need the tiniest of squirts of this, and I have a lot of dishes! It was really long lasting.”

“The week before I tried the fairy product, I was using another shop’s own brand washing up liquid. I honestly am stunned at the difference. The own brand one would only last a week and I had to cover the sponge with washing up liquid about 3 times during the washing up. With Fairy, I used a tiny squirt. I have being using Fairy for approx 3 weeks, and both of the bottles are about 3 quarters full, if not more. There's a huge value for money using Fairy it lasts about fifty times longer, as well as obviously cleaning much better especially on dried-on grease on my oven racks.”
