Children under 12 years sharing a room with adults stay free of charge on a Bed & Breakfast basis.  Infant cots are also available free of charge.

 

The modern & spacious Plum Tree Bistro, with its friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere is renowned for its traditional Irish cuisine. Serving food all day from full Irish breakfasts, afternoon coffees & light snacks to a full evening menu.  Also serving a great kids menu and half portions on carvery lunch. The head chef, who trained a very young Jamie Oliver & claimed the winning title at the “Taste of Carlow Culinary Challenge”, along with his dedicated team, carefully design seasonal menus to emphasise the goodness of fresh, local produce ensuing a wide & varied menu for all tastes.

 

Every Sunday is Funday at Woodford Dolmen Hotel during Sunday carvery lunch times.  Kids can work up an appetite with our complimentary fun kids activities including bouncy castle, face-painting & coloring.  Kids also eat free on the Kids eat free menu with 1 kids meal free with every adult meal purchased.

 

Carlow has so much to offer its visitors from music and art festivals, walking tours or garden visits to Santa trains, adventure parks, softplay areas & entertainment centre’s for the kids.  On a rainy day, delight the whole family with a trip to Rathwood Garden Centre or visit the Chocolate Gardens of Ireland where nobody will go homes empty handed.
