Opening up about the last twelve months in her blog with Hello! magazine, Giovanna admits the last year has been a whirlwind of emotion.
Admitting that her lack of sleep and changing figure are a small price to pay for the wonder that is her little boy, she reveals: "I'm perfectly happy with this new way of living- especially when Buzz cracks a smile in my direction, laughs at something stupid I'm doing for his amusement or gives me a kiss I've not asked for."
Giovanna reveals that her son's presence in her life still astounds her and husband Tom, saying: "We made him. Those are words that have been said by us dozens of times over the last year as we've watched in amazement as he's tackled the world around him."
Proud dad Tom reflected on the impact Buzz has made on his life by paying tribute to his son on Instagram, posting: "A year ago today my beautiful wife made me a daddy to this little man and my life changed forever. Happy 1st birthday Buzz X."
Giovanna's doting husband also took to Instagram yesterday to celebrate Mother's Day, posting "Happy Mother's Day to my beautiful wife. Buzz has asked me to tell you that he is very sorry that he forgot to get you a card...he seems very embarrassed about it so don't be mad at him..."
Uploading a beautiful black and white snap of his wife and baby son, Tom paid tribute to the special relationship enjoyed by Giovanna and Buzz.
