While numerous media outlets revealed the couple's happy news today, Coco herself had yet to officially comment on the impending arrival.
This all changed, however, when the 36-year-old model took to Twitter this afternoon to break her silence, writing: "I'm pregnant!!! Yah!! Ice & I are so excited! I announced it Friday on our new talkshow which airs Aug 3rd." (sic)
Having officially shared the news with fans and followers online, the overjoyed mum-to-be took the time to chat with New York City's Fox 5.
Opening up about her first child, Coco admitted: "I've been pregnant for a while, but we've been holding it between us for some time."
Revealing how she reacted to the news that she was to become a mother for the first time, Coco explained: "It was a really awesome moment. I cried. It's beautiful how life actually works."
The couple, who have been married for 14 years, intend to share every moment of their exciting journey with their millions of supporters.
Opening up about the plans, a clearly excited Coco revealed: "We'll share all the juicy details: How far along I am...the gender."
