Davina McCall took to Twitter earlier today and revealed that she tends to struggle with this time of the year, but the reason behind her mood isn't always immediately apparent.
With heartbreaking honesty, the 47-year-old star opened up about the effect her sister Caroline's passing has had on her.
Explaining her current mood to Twitter followers who number in the millions, Davina wrote: "I always get a flat feeling around this time of the year and then I remember it's the run up to the anniversary of my beautiful sis passing."
Messages of support flooded in for the star as she contemplates another year without her maternal half sister, who died from lung cancer in 2012, at just 50-years-old.
Desperate to console the former Big Brother presenter, some fans drew on their own experience, writing; "Hugs Davina. I'm the same, It never goes away. You just learn to live with it."
Offering words of advice to the TV presenter, another fan wrote: "Enjoy every day on her behalf for both of you. Lost my mum 1 year 1/2 ago but when I think of her smile, all's well." (sic)
