We were delighted to be asked to trial the Mustela product range on our new little boy who is 4 months old. We had been gifted the 'No Rinse Soothing Cleansing Water' when our little boy was born from a friend and we really liked it. We are a family of Sensitive Skin and the Cleansing Water was so nice to use, no smell and easy to apply.
For the trial, we chose the Sensitive Skin products and again have been delighted with them all. We also have 2 older girls, aged 4 and 2, and have used all the products on them too. The bath cleansing gel is lovely, the girls really like to squeeze it out of the bottle onto their sponge. It is very easy to use which means less spills at bath time!
The girls also love the Gentle Shampoo, it creates just the right amount of lather in their hair and easy to comb their hair afterwards. What they really like about it is the picture of a whale on the front of the bottle!
After each bath we have used the sensitive skin body moisturiser and face moisturiser. What we really liked about these products is that a little bit goes along way, it leaves the skin really nicely moisturised and the winner is that it dries in really quickly. It doesn't leave the skin slippy, which can be dangerous with a small baby, and it makes putting on their pyjamas easy as the skin is dry and the clothes don't stick to it!
We use the Vitamin Barrier cream on our 4 month old and 2 year old who suffers from nappy rash. The cream has been great, clears up any redness quickly, and seems to protect their little bums really well. We are very happy with this product.
As we are a family of sensitive skin, we always look for products that have as natural and fragrance free as possible. We will definitely be buying the Mustela range again and we have already recommended the products to friends.
Thanks for including us in the trial!

I really enjoyed using all the Mustela products sent to me.

My first experience with Mustela products was with my first son (3years old now) when we were living in France at the time. I used the baby massage oil and the bath oil. I really liked both and loved the smell. The massage oil was a lovely way to connect with my baby. Easy to spread, beautiful smell and good size container.

I am a big fan of the Mustela products overall and just love the smell. I do however consider them to be more a luxury product than an every day one given the pricing.

I liked all the products I was given to try. The nappy cream has a nice consistency and not sticky and messy like some others. My son had a slightly red bottom and after one application it was all gone. The hair mouse is also really nice to use and washes off very quickly and feels light and gentle on Luca’s hair. It would be nice however if there was a smell from it. The face cream and body lotion were also a big hit, both were really easy to apply and not too thick or greasy, so handy when in a hurry. Luca had a few dry patches on his feet and ears and applying the cream cleared it up.

The key things I look for in such products for my baby are consistency/ease of application (some other creams I have used are thick and take a while to apply and rub in), smell (many baby products don’t have any smell and I really like them to smell nice and I particularly love the Mustela smell) and no chemicals, gentle on the skin. Mustela brands have the combination of all three.

I have and would continue to recommend and use these products, without hesitation.

We were delighted to be selected to take part in this trial of Mustella products. Both of us being fair, sensitive red heads ; I have always been cautious with what i put on my wee guys skin.
Being a drooly dribbly 6 month old wee guy I had heard of Mustela emollient cream from forums when looking for advice however as a First time mother I was personally unfamiliar with this brand as I tried multiple products recommended for sensitive & Dry skin types.
Doing the Quiz I realised my wee guy had atopic skin which explained his skin issues which I had been previously dealing with using a combination of products - using trial & error! Unbenowst to me that these products were available which would perfectly address his issues such dry patches of skin, sensitivity & reddness.

Up to this point I was trying a combination of products, trying to avoidly the overly chemical, fragranced ones - even comparing the list of ingredients between similar products I had received recommendations about. It had come to a point I had reverted back to just bathing him daily in just water - as any products I tried dried his skin or left it sensitized and red - & even with the water he had dry patches on his arms & legs. In addition dry patches on his scalp which was not cradle cap.
As Part of this trial, I was given 4 products to test which were suitable for his skin type: - Mustella 123 Vitamin barrier cream, Bath Oil, and from the Mustella Stelatopia range ; Cleansing Cream & Foam Shampoo.
I have to honestly say I Love this range!! They suited his skin perfectly & from first use I noticed his skin a little bit softer.
The Vitamin barrier cream & Bath Oil have to be my joint favourite products. The 123 Vitamin Barrier creams' consistency & viscosity means it so much easier to apply than other nappy creams, the tube lasts longer than other equally sized nappy cream tubes as less is needed to give the necessary coverage & it is just as effective to protect my babys' skin between nappy changes. This is especially important during the fun period of weaning & teething in which nappies can be unpredictable & skin can suffer -however my boys' skin stayed protected with no sign of nappy rash.
As I previously mentioned I had reverted back to just washing my baby in just water as any bath or cleansing products I tried just still led to dry sensitized patches. Here the Bath oil was my saviour! I use it now in both baths & when top n' tall him for quick freshen ups! From immediately I noticed it soothed his skin & dry patches calmed & became smoother. The gentle scent is lovely too!
The Foam Shampoo from the Stelatopia range was fantastic for his scalp & would be our next favourite product. OisIn had taken up swimming & all the washing & chlorine from the pool had in particular led to dry patches on his scalp. Prior to this product I was only washing his hair as needed & trying natural products to moisturise his scalp - however then his hair got greasy & thus needed more washing....and the cycle kept continuing! The design of the bottle meant the shampoo was so easy to apply in a foamy consistency you used the correct amount as needed. As always I tried to avoid his eyes & he did not complain during rinsing if any got in.
The Mustella Stelatopia cleansing cream also is great. Only a tiny bit is required as a little bit goes a long way. Even on his face - no reddness or sensitivity from using his product. The bottle design too means you can control how much you use & don't spill any. This bottle contains 200mls so I expect it to last for ages.
After trying these products for the past few weeks I can confidently say 100% I would buy them again instead of our usual products and recommend them to family & friends Smiling

We were thrilled to be asked to trial the Mustela products on our 5 month old girl. For the trial, we chose the Sensitive Skin products from the range. We have some asthma and allergies in the family so we are always keen to use gentle products. Baby also had cradle cap and we wanted to get that under control. We have 2 older girls 7 & 4 who loved the products too, they loved the face cream especially as it was a new element to their regime!
I really liked how the hand pump dispensers on the shampoo and bath gel worked, during the bath it was really easy to keep one hand on the baby while getting just the right amount of each product. Baby hasn't had a return of cradle cap since using the shampoo and without it her hair is finally growing!

The face cream and body cream were a lovely consistency, not at all sticky and absorbed really well. her skin was really soft after use. The nappy cream worked really well also, she hasn't had any red bottoms. We will definitely continue using the Mustela range, thanks so much for including us in the trial.
