We love traditional crackers and cheese in our house so the Dairylea Dunkers were a lovely novelty way to enjoy our favourite snack. The neat packaging with it's own separate compartment for the cheese was exciting for our 4-year old but there were never enough dunking sticks / crackers for her to be able to get all the cheese out so she'd use her fingers for the last little bit and pop them in her mouth. These are an easy grab-and-go snack to have in the fridge and with nothing added they're guilt free for mum too!

Have to say, these are really quite tasty. Probably wouldn’t include them in the lunch box every day, as I prefer the kids to eat brown bread for lunch, but great to have as a backup, especially on a Friday - by that stage the cupboards are normally bare until the Saturday big shop.
I like that they contain calcium, are a simple all-in-one snack with very little mess or fuss and that all three kids love them. It’s an easy win at the end of the week.
Will buy again, and have recommended to friends and family.

Thank you for picking us to test the Dairylea Dunkers – my kids absolutely loved them. We have often bought the Dairylea spreads before, but the thing I like about Dunkers is that you have everything in the one pack – cheese and crackers, v handy, as we normally run out of the crackers long before the spread is finished.
It’s good to know that Dairylea Dunkers don’t contain any artificial preservatives, colouring or flavours, and that they are suitable for vegetarians – my eldest son has decided to be a vegetarian recently, so this trial couldn’t have come at a better time J
I always worry about giving the kids snacks, but as snacks go, these aren’t bad, and once a child has a balanced diet in general, snacks like these are not a problem.

Dairylea reminds me of being a kid, I loved the cheese triangles, but I haven’t had them in years. Nice to get a reminder with this trial.
The kids eat a healthy balanced diet, and are always open to trying new food – we worked very hard from when they were small to insist on a wide range of foods available, and to always try it before dismissing it.
As a mum I like to know something doesn’t contain any artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, which the Dairylea Dunkers don’t and great that they are a source of protein too.
They hadn’t tried Dairylea Dunkers before, but were very happy to. The Ritz Crackers were a real hit and we have since bought them again.
I’m happy to recommend to other mums, these are great go-to snack for the kids. Thank you Mummypages and Dairylea

The Dairylea Dunkers were a huge hit in our house! They are now our go-to snack alongside the fruit bowl. My children don't drink milk other than in their morning cereal, so they only way they get their calcium is through yogurts and a limited amount of cheese. They'll eat cheese melted in cooked food but not straight from the fridge. However Dairylea Dunkers have changed all of that now! They simply love them and with all the great flavours their biggest challenge is choosing which one they want to eat. The only thing I would suggest to improve the product would be to add a fifth portion to the packaging. I have five days of school lunches and as it stands I have to substitute my Dairylea Dunkers for something else on a Friday as I only do my shopping once a week on a Saturday morning. I like the way they have a cow on the packaging as my children understand now that they are a dairy product. This also helps my teacher as my children's school has a very strict healthy eating policy so each lunchbox is vetted by the teacher and anything breaching this policy are considered a treat and are removed until going home time. It would be even better if their no artificial colours or flavours promise was written on each portion for this purpose.

Hi, thanks so much for letting me be a part of the Dairylea Dunkers trial. We were already big fans of the breadstick ones but hadn't tried the Ritz cracker ones or the cheesy bacon ones. I have been known to have the odd dunk myself, we're big fans of cheese in our house. They're the perfect portion size and great for snacking on the go. I pop a packet into the lunchbox a couple of times a week and also into the swim bag on Saturdays, she's always ravenous after swimming lessons.

I was thrilled to be chosen for the Dairylea Dunkers trial with Mummypages. I'd often seen them in the chilled section of the supermarket but always assumed they were a novelty product - how wrong could I be! I have two boys aged seven and three years and they simply loved them :-) This fail-safe snack added to the fact that it was actually good for them, upping their calcium intake for the day and no artificial colours, preservatives or flavours, will now be a permanent fixture on our weekly shopping list. That's lunchboxes sorted and those "I'm hungry" emergencies when the fruit bowl is empty! They have a good shelf-life so I can buy in bulk when they're on special offer, although I can't see them lasting that long in our fridge!

Thanks so much for letting us take part in this trial - the kids absolutely loved it.
I'm very familiar with Dairylea, we always had the Dairylea cream cheese when I was growing up, and my kids eat it now too. We don't always buy the Dunkers, they're just never on my radar, but having tried them, we all really enjoyed them, and the kids are now looking for them in their lunch boxes every day. Lol.
I'm always happy to give my kids cheese - they don't drink a lot of milk, so this is really their only way of getting calcium in their diet. We are very careful about eating a well balanced healthy diet in our house, with our motto being a little bit of everything is good.
I will buy Dairylea Dunkers again, the kids loved them, they're a simple snack. I would recommend to other mums

The kids are not really great at eating carbs in general, so getting them to agree on what they’ll eat for lunch is difficult – they’re not normally big fans of crackers or bread (I wish I had that problem – ha ha) and lunch normally consists of rice cakes, fruit and veg, so I wasn’t sure they’d go for this, but I was pleasantly surprised. They both liked them.
I’m very happy to give my kids Dairylea Dunkers, they’re really handy to have in the fridge, and whether it’s eating at home, in school or out and about, it’s a very easy option for me and them. Have already told my mummy friends about them, and we have bought more.

I have four boys and it can be hard to keep any food in the fridge! The Dairylea Dunkers were no exception, they didn't last long. I used them for the lunchboxes for my younger two boys while the older boys make their own sandwiches so I didn't interfere. The two favourites were the cheesy bacon flavour and the jumbo tubes that had a flavouring on the dipping stick. I noticed they're on special in Tesco this week at half-price for €1.75 and I bought some more, but I don't think I could buy them every week at full price given how quickly they were eaten!

My little girl has just started big school and she loved the Dairylea dunkers. They were a great lunchbox filler and since there is nothing added to them they fit in very well with the school's strict no junk food policy too! I also have a three year old who has happily snacked on the breadstick variety of dunkers in the buggy on the walk up to the afternoon school collection, they're perfect for his little hands.

My kids loved their dairylea dunkers! They got them in their lunch boxes on a Friday and were so excited guessing which type it would be! The packaging is so bright and child appealing that they could always spot them on the supermarket shelf and in the trolley they now go! I felt really secure knowing they were also getting calcium from them too. My children adore the Ritz cracker ones and I love them too when I am racing around and want a healthy snack. I don't need to recommend dairylea dunkers to anyone as my children do it for me!

I haven't had Daiylea in years, I used to have it all the time when I was younger, not sure when I stopped buying it - I love it. We tried every flavour over the last week and the kids enjoyed all of them. They loved the crackers with the cheese, and they were very happy to take them in their lunchbox. I will buy Dairylea Dunkers again, they're good to have in the house for a quick snack. Thank you for selecting us to take part.

I have heard of Dairylea, but haven't really bought much from them, the children are awful for eating cheese, no matter what it is. I always ask them to try things before they tell me they don't like them, and to be fair they do, but cheese has never done well.
When we got the Dairylea Dunkers, they all agreed to try them, and the response was really very surprising. They all enjoyed them, and finished them happily.
I'm delighted of course - it's a great source of calcium for growing bones, and as a lunch time snack, it's brilliant. The kids have already asked for them again, and so they're now a fixed part of our weekly shop. Long may it continue. Would recommend.

I have five year old daughter who just started in junior infants. The lunchbox is a big part of her day and would you believe there is already lunchbox envy going on in her classroom?! When I started the trial I was giving them to her as a snack after school. She was complaining of being starving in the car and they were a great no-mess nutritious tummy filler. However now she's asked for them in her lunchbox instead because some of the other children have them and I am happy to give them to her as they're a good source of calcium.
