Thanks so much for choosing my family to take part in this trial. Well I knew about John West brand before and I have also heard about Steam Pots before this trial. I think that John West Steam Pots are quite convenient but the pot could be higher itself because when I prepare it the cuscus is falling out. I would use use it mainly as a lunch snack at home. I liked chilli and mushroom taste the most because in the others the lemon taste was very dominant. I would buy this product only with special offer because now the price is quite high. I expect to find John West Steam Pots next to other canned fish products in stores. I would highly recommend John West Steam Pots for my friends because of its good taste and convenient usage.

Thanks very much for including me on this trial - I'm a big fan of tuna (and cous cous), but always interested in finding a new way to eat it. And these John West Steam Pots are brilliant.
You never know with 'quick' meals whether they will work or not, but these totally do. They taste amazing. And they are so handy. As a working mum I often need to have a very quick bite in work and at home, so these are perfect.
Favourite was the chili flavour, but to be honest I really enjoyed them all.
Price is pretty amazing - given what a coffee costs, let alone what a sandwich costs.
Would absolutely recommend, and will definitely buy again.

Oh my ... these are so delicious.
I was very happy to be selected for this trial, I really like Tuna nd Cous Cous so I knew I'd love these - and I did (as did the other half when he stole one from the press - which I made him replace btw lol).
I'm quite picky when it comes to lunch at work, sandwiches can be really boring, so it's great to have a healthy and filling alternative in these Steam Pots.
Have already bought them again and recommended them to friends and family.

Thank you for selecting me to take part in this trial. I was a little late getting started because I missed the courier the first day he attempted delivery. I was aware of the John West brand already and had previously had the tinned salmon but never the tuna. I had not heard of the steam pots before. I love the idea of the steam pots. Very handy to have as a stand by for lunch. The pots were easy and quick to prepare - perfect for lunch on a busy day at work or for a quick snack for the children after school. I loved all the different variety of cous cous. I found that the tuna became a little tedious after a few days in a row. Perhaps alternating with salmon or other tin fish would have been more satisfying. My favourite flavour was the mushroom cous cous with the ginger and soy. I probably wouldnt buy them for myself but I would definitely buy for the children - they love them. I would expect to find this product with the tinned fish in a supermarket. I would defintely recommend this product to my tuna loving friends!

I am purchasing Jofn West products for years, but new steam pots are absolutly new idea to me. I found out the informations about them on the Facebook and Mummypages and i wanted to try this new version of tuna so i was happy that i was choose for this trial and i did open firts od those pots just 5 minutes after the pacage with them arrived haha. As first i picked basil tuna. Yummie.

First of all i though that finally somebody became with idea to make something different than pasta in this kind of emergency "I am sooo hungry" pots. This one is so easy to make, just a boiling water and 5 minutes later - lovely dish. Couscous was great choice in my point of you. Very important is that couscous absorbs all the water, so taste good and also looks good. I am not a big fan of the version with chili. I don't really like spice food so almost everything with small amount of chili is too spicy for me. Tuna was ok and still very tasty but couscous was just spicy but has not got any other flavours. So, not my favorite.
Mushroom one is probably the best, but maybe a little bit stronger mushroom flavour will be a better option. Overall couscous need a bit more seasoning. Maybe it s just me, but i needed salt to all of them. I like soy and ginger one, but lime one had a bit too much lime in it for me. I ve been disapointed with one thing. I was pretty sure that new steam pots will be something what i can use for my lunch in work (does not smell as strong as i expected) but if i don't want to use the plate and i want to stir this dish in the plastic pots it is not really handy. Seem like pots are too small for this. But maybe it s just me, being fussy.
Conslusion? Great idea, lovely flavours, but producer need to working on this product a little bit more. Price seems to acceptable. I would definitly buy it for this money and i definitly will buy new pots in the future. Fish is a very important part of my family's diet and i am glad that i ve got new options to choose from.

Thank you so much for including me in this trial, I found all the pots very tasty and they were a great way of including fish in my diet and I think would also be handy for my sons who are always on the move. I really liked how with all of them there was a clear line to show you how much water to pour in, I also liked how there was no straining of the water after pouring it in...this was very handy when on the move as I didnt have to wait 5 minutes to pour excess fluid into the sink.
My favourite was the chilli & garlic pot as it wasnt too spicy and had great flavour to it. The basil pot was probably the most popular among the whole family, it was probably the most plain tasting which made it the favourite as it didnt have a strong flavour that anyone could object to.
My husband liked the soy and ginger pot as he's a big fan of mushroom and really liked the spices and flavour of the whole pot.
Lemon and thyme was an unusual pot, I really thought I wouldn't enjoy it because of my dislike of black olive but was pleasantly surprised that the mixture of ingredents meant that no one flavour over-powered the pot and it was actually very tasty.
Finally the coriander and cumin pot, was to my surprise my least favourite pot. I'm not a fan of citrus flavours in my main course meal and I found the flavour of lime quite strong in this pot...I think it would have been more enjoyable if the lime was not so strong. I enjoyed all the pots and the opportunity to try something different. Thank you.

Firstly id like to thank you for choosing me for the trial couldn't of come at a better time it was great just back from school activities and I had dinner for the kids in the freezer so I had the tuna steam pots for my husband and myself. I was so exciting to taste them as id never heard of them before until the trial they were so easy to make and tasted lovely and very filling. They were so convenient as my husband even brought one to work for his lunch and my 9 year old son loved them too his favorite was the mushroom and my favourite was the chilli , I would definitely buy these at the price of 2:99 because they are so handy to make and definitely something to have in the cupboard if your hungry and in a rush. I would definitely recommend John west Steam Pots all my family and friends as they are so handy and taste great . Thanks again for choosing me for the trial . :)

These are absolutely gorge. So easy to pop in the handbag for work, and at lunch time they are so quicky to prepare with just water. Thrilled to be taking part in this trial, and I really love all the flavours - I'm not sure I have a favourite.
Will definitely buy again, and have already recommended to my mummy friends, and the family are sick of me telling them about the John West Steam Pots!
Thanks again. Great idea, and really tasty.

Would you believe I had never heard of these before. Obviously I head heard of (and have always enjoyed John West) but these were a new one on me. I'm not great for trying out new things, I'm a bit stuck in my ways. That said, I'm very happy that I did, and I'm suitably impressed with these John West Steam Post - as are the kids - who each insisted they test them with me lol.
My flavourite flavour is the chilli one, but they are all lovely. In my opinion, they are well worth the money, for me they are my full lunch - and where can you get a lunch for a couple of Euro?
Very happy to say these get a resounding thumbs up on our house, and have been on the shopping list since. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I love cous cous and I love tuna - so it would stand to reason that' I'd love the John West Steam Pots - and guess what? I do!
it was a family trial to be honest, once the steam pots arrived everyone wanted to taste them. The general consesus was that the tomato one was favourite, but it was a very close call.
I'm very familiar with John West and have always bought their products, and haven't been disappointed.
These are great value when you think of what you would normally spend on a lunch - so as a budget conscious mum, I'm delighted.
If I were to look for soemthing missing - I'd like the tuna with different options, like maybe rice or pasta. But that's not to ake away from the steam pots - they are great just as they are.
Will continue to buy them and woudl recommend. Great for lunches, snacks during the day, or tea/supper. Love them.

I absolutely love these steam pots from John West. What a brilliant idea - boil the kettle and you have a fillling healthy meal in minutes.
I've always known the John West brand - in my student years, tinned tuna with pasta and an arrabiata sauce was my go to meal :)
The kids love tuna too - but I'll be keeping these pots for me. For one - something just for mum lol
Great to have on hand at home, and even better to have to be to work for lunch. Will definitely keep buying them and would recommend to all other mums out there, great value, great taste - need I say more?

I really wasn't sure about these - I wanted to try them, and I know John West have never had a product that I didn't enjoy, but I wasn't sure you could make a meal like this taste good. Well, they can. These steams pots are really delicious. I've thoroughly enjoyed them. Had them eaten in a few days - so handy for lunch, a snack, tea time, supper time - winner every time.
Great choice of flavours, and I really love cous cous, so we were on a win win from the start.
The are healthy, made in minutes and super value.
Have already bought them again, and will continue to do so. Have all the girls in work hooked on them now too, so I think it's safe to say I'd recommend them.

Great product - but I'd expect nothing less from John West.
When the pots arrived, I was delighted to have a choice of flavours to try. The first one I had was the chilli and garlic one - which was just gorgeous. I enjoyed the rest of them equally, but definitely the chilli one stood out as a favourite.
I've used these as a handy tea time for a busy mum, and work lunches. Great idea. So easy to bring along with you and all you need is a kettle.
They really are yum. And great value too - I've bought more since, and recommended to friends and family.
Thanks very much for letting me take part.

I had seen these in the shops - but it never even occurred to me to buy them. Not beaucse I don't like tuna, because I do, and cous cous too. But I wondered would I have a reason to eat them? And lo and behold - mums eat lunches too!! I have really enjoyed taking part in this trial and the John West Steam Pots are really nice. Easy to make, so very handy to have in the press at home or in work. Everyone at home and in work has heard me rave about them, so they're all on board too.
Great product. Thanks for including me. Will keep buying.

Thank you for selecting us for the John West Steam Pot trial. I was aware of the John West brand but I rarely buy tinned fish as I prefer fresh however I would have the odd tin from time to time. The Steam Pots are a new product to me & I think they are great. I like cous cous as a healthy lunch but it can be a little dull sometimes. These Steam Pots are a great lunch or dinner & are a very generous portion size, I really enjoyed most of the flavours but so did my kids, luckly there is enough in each serving for my lunch & several spoons for the kids too. I haven't tried all flavours yet but I really liked Basil & sun-dried tomato, my least favourite being the coriander & cumin although strangely this was the kids favourite. I will buy these products again, they are healthy quick food option & so quick to prepare. i would be happy to recommend these to anyone & would expect to find them in the "pot noodle" sections in store
