When I first received these products I was struck by the really nice packaging for the Bloom Collective set – it is very earthy and natural looking.
I first tried the tan and knowing that the tan had ingredients like Vitamin E and Aloe Vera reassured me that I wasn’t putting a lot of chemicals on my skin.
I think I was definitely more aware of what I was putting on my skin throughout my pregnancy, so for me the fact that this tan actually took care of your skin was a winner.
The tan went on really nice, it felt very soft against your skin and best thing about it was that there was no fake tan smell, so it almost felt like a tinted moisturiser going on.
The next morning after application I had a light glow that is perfect for everyday wear. I also had a wedding to attend to so I put on another layer the next night which gave a nice darker colour, again with no tan smell.
My skin was not dry like it usually would be after using tan so I didn’t mind doing the extra layer.
This tan lasted about 5 days, I was using the Bloom Collective Moisturiser in between to keep my skin soft and this was a perfect combination.
The moisturiser felt just as nice as the tan on my skin and left it very supple. I also used it around my bump area as it was so nice.
The tan wore off really nice with no patches and that’s a big plus for me in comparison to other tans.
When it came to removing the stubborn tan, I used the bath bomb and bamboo mitt. I have to say I had never heard of a bath bomb to remove tan so I was intrigued plus it was an excuse to have a bath!
The bath bomb fizzed up lovely in the bath and the stubborn tan stains I usually get around ancles and knees literally rubbed off with the mitt, I couldn’t believe there was no scrubbing required!
The bath bomb was gentle and did not feel or smell like chemicals.
Overall I would defiantly recommend these products to my pregnant friends or any mamas out there. Its really nice to have specific products like these that are available for you when pregnant.
We all like to feel nice when wearing tan, now you can while pregnant without worrying about harmful chemicals and drying out your skin.
With the lovely packaging its perfect gift for a mama to be – would be a perfect baby shower gift!

I used to use fake tan alot more often, have become lazier, but also busier as I've got older and had more kids! Exactly this is the reason why Lusso Tan appealed to me; a no faff easy to apply tan.

This was my first time trying Lusso Tan.
I loved how The Bloom Collective was very moisturising and didnt have a strong fake tan smell.
It's very important to me generally and especially during pregnancy that my skincare products aren't full of chemicals, the natural ingredients such as aloe vera, vitamin E, shea butter and coconut oil were probably the main reason why I wanted to try The Bloom Collective.
I was very happy with the results, only complaint was that that my feet came out a little patchy but that might have been my application! Otherwise I felt that after just one application I had a nice subtle natural tan that I could build up if I wanted. Also faded quire naturally which I like just as much.
I would use this product again and recommend it.

Thanks so much for letting me take part in this trial.
I had never heard of Lusso Tan before seeing it on mummypages and was very happy to try it out. The Bloom Collective is beautiful from packaging, to smell to texture – it’s all very well presented and is a real treat to use.
Thankfully it doesn’t have the usual fake tan smell, in fact it has a really pleasant smell, and it’s very moisturising too which is brilliant, as my skin tends to have dry patches.
I use tan regularly, and it’s great to know that this one is suitable to use when pregnant. I’m very aware of what I should use during pregnancy, my diet and exercise too, it’s a precious time for m mums to be, so I’m taking full advantage of looking after myself.
It was also very good to know that The Bloom Collective contained added ingredients like aloe vera extract to soothe itching and irritation caused by dryness and stimulate collagen production; vitamin E to improve your skin tone; shea butter to nourish damaged tissue; coconut oil for hydration. IT never occurred to me that so much would go into it.
I was very happy with the results – I like a subtle glow, rather than a full on tan, especially during winter months, so the results for me were perfect.
I would definitely buy The Bloom Collective again, and would recommend to others.
