Would like too say first thank you. I have been using it day and night. At first when I was using it I was thinking this product is very good and yes it is.  I began my day using the scrub it was a very light testure and I could feel the oils on my face. I did apply to my neck area too. Now after using it my skin has shown good signs, its so soft and the dryness I had with the flaking is now gone. I would recommend this product. I also noticed when using it my fine lines are not prominent and my skin had a glow. I  found out using less is more, you dont need to put alot on it smelt so fresh. I felt I had been at a spa... brilliant product I would  rate this 5/5

I have been using the Erase & Renew over the past 10 days or so.

I was aware of the Pestle & Mortar brand before the Trial from magazine reviews and also online advertising. I had bought the serum and moisturiser last November as a twin pack offer so I saved about €10 at the time. I was delighted with the results of these products and I had read great reviews about the cleansing system and was delighted when I got the opportunity to take part in the trial.
My first impressions of the packaging was “Wow”, it looked expensive! But thinking about it I feel the packaging is very wasteful. The boxes and containers are lined with a velvet like foam which are of no use once you open them and I still have not found a way to recycle or reuse them. The product as described on their own website:
a line of no-fuss skincare – free of harsh chemicals and worrisome ingredients – that left women looking and feeling their best”
however the packaging is very fussy and I would imagine adds considerably to the price of the product and also the environmental impact on our planet. The pump dispenser again is lovely to use and dispenses about the right amount, but again adding to the cost of the product and the environment. It’s the only negative I have with the P&M brand. I think the philosophy of the product is not carried through to the packaging. Maybe P&M will review their packaging to create simpler environmentally friendly packaging.
My normal skincare routine would be to cleanse before bed with either a gentle facewash, or a cream cleanser & cotton pads, toner followed by a night oil or night cream. In the morning, facewash, serum, eye cream, moisturise and then makeup at work. I had never used a double cleanse system before.
I have dry sensitive skin, with some lines starting to form and even though I am in my mid-forties I can still get the odd pimple or blocked pore so I try to be vigilant with cleansing and using products the suit my skin and help reduce the effects of aging.
I used the Erase & Renew at night, followed by toner and then just the renew in the mornings. I used the lovely 2 sided facecloth that was supplied. I did notice my skin was clearer and softer and had a “glow” in the mornings. I also have not had a pimple or breakout since beginning to use P&M erase & renew. My skin felt plumper and nourished and there was no dryness or irritation. I have also noticed my fine lines are not as prominent. The products smelled fresh and clean and felt like I was in the spa when using them.
I would consider buying the P&M brand again, the erase & renew system is wonderful and my skin is all the better after using it, my fine lines are less noticeable and my skin is glowing. My only reservation is the packaging and price, but the product is Fantastic.
I have already recommended the P&M serum and moisturiser to friends and family and now I would also recommend the double cleanse system. I think it’s priced a little on the high end and maybe reviewing the price of packaging would reduce the cost and make the product even more attractable. I am giving the Erase & Renew a score of 4/5.

I was delighted to be picked to trial this product because it is something that I have lusted after for a while now. I have read so many good things about the whole range but haven't purchased any products, mainly due to the price point. So I've been using the Erase and Renew Doubling Cleanse system for the past 18 days and I have to say I really like it. The set itself is presented beautifully in a magnetic closure box lined with velvet type foam, so it would make a great gift for someone special, but for someone who is buying it for themselves every few weeks I think the packaging is wasteful and the box can't be reused for anything else. The "erase" is in a 50g tub and the "renew" is in a 50g pump bottle. It's up to yourself how much or how little of the erase you decide to use, but the recommended use of the renew is one full pump, which I found at times to be a little bit too much. So I think the renew would run out quicker than the erase, which is a problem when it comes to the fact that you can't buy the products individually. Having to pay in around 76 euro each time for the set isn't ideal if you really only want one of the products. And after 18 days of use, even though I used very little of the erase every night it is near the end of the jar, I might get another 4-5 nights out of it. I don't know what's left in the renew but I imagine it's less. So aside from that what did I think of the actual products in the bottle? Well they really are beautiful. The smell from both is divine. Lemony, lavender. I put them on my skin and don't want to wash them off. The erase does a powerful job of removing a full face of make up after a long day, and the renew just makes sure that last little bit is washed away. Now, I've often used cleansers which claim to remove all traces of make up but I'd wake up the next morning with black eyes, but after using this kit my face was still spotless the next morning. The renew was my favorite bit because I found it ever so slightly warming on my skin, I didn't read anywhere that this would happen so I hope it's normal., but it was lovely. Do I think this double cleansing kit made a huge difference to my skin? Well yes and no. After using it my skin glows and it feels soft and smooth, which I love because I have dry sensitive skin and normally it feels tight and looks red after washing. But long term the glow doesn't last. My skin has improved slightly in the fact that I haven't had a spot since I started using it, but I think this is more so down to the fact that trialing this got me into the good habit of washing my face morning and night. I made time to do it, whereas normally I give a quick wipe with Micellar water and a cotton pad while holding baby with my other hand. And because I was taking time to wash it properly I also took time to moisturise properly so overall my skin did improve slightly.

Although I really liked the products I don't think I would purchase them again, and this is mostly down to the price. I simply can't afford to drop 76 euro on skincare every few weeks. And to be fair, a double cleanse is achievable with other products, even Micellar water. It's simply just cleansing your face twice. If you're the type of person who can afford high end skincare and likes to invest in good products then go for this kit, you won't be disappointed. If like me you can't afford such luxuries then I wouldn't worry, you're not missing out on a life changing product.

For the products themselves I'd rate 4/5
Value for money 2/5 because I think at 76 euro it's very overpriced and you just won't get the same longevity out of the cleansers as you would from other brands.

Wow, well I have been using the Pestle & Mortar: Erase and Renew for 2 weeks now. Amazing stuff. I had previously heard of the P&M brand and was delighted to be able to trial the product. Well when it arrived I thought Wow both the presentation and the look were amazing, it looked a very expensive product. At €76 I would think this was expensive.
The products themselves are fabulous. The scrub smells amazing and both products are very easy use. A little goes a long way with these. Almost immediately I could feel a difference with my skin, and now after 2 weeks I can say without a doubt it has improved my skin tenfold. My skin is clearer, I no longer have dry patches and dare I say it is even glowing. It is also softer to touch.
Despite all of this I don't think I will be purchasing it in the future, I honestly just couldn't justify spending €76 on skincare every few weeks. Which is disappointing as the results are amazing. The products themselves I would give 5/5. But the price let's it down. I have and will happily recommend these products to family & friends. I have been singing the praises of the Pestle & Mortar brand.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of this trial and testing this fantastic product.

So so happy with the results from Pestle & Mortar Erase and Renew - I really didn't think it would work, after all it's really just a cleanser, but it's so much more than that, and it has made a big big difference. My skin is bright and fresh every day, even without make up.
Really delighted with the results, and have already bought a set for my mum for Mother's Day - the perfect gift.
Thanks so much for letting me test it - would never have found it otherwise.
