I took iron in the beginning of my pregnancy, and figured that would be enough, but after my recent blood test, I was a bit low again, so took this. I have to say it was great, my iron levels recovered, and I didn't have to suffer the awful indigestion or constipation.
Thanks for including me in this trial.
Very much a fan and have already recommended to others.

Being pregnant is great, but the exhaustion is so not. Part of it is of course normal, but part of it is a lack of iron, I know this, and yet it still comes a surprise when the doctor reminds me to take it all through my pregnancy.
It's not part of my every day routine, so I often forget. It's also so often associated with feeling crap as it tends to be harsh on the tummy, and can cause constipation.
Glad to say Active Iron proved to be the perfect solution to this - now have good energy, and can even manage a night out with DH, and there are none of the nasty side effects.
Would recommend.

Thanks very much for letting me take part in this trial - I always thought I'd struggle with taking iron, no matter waht type, it always repeats on me, but it seems like ActiveIron Pregnancy is the one that doesn't.
Have been taking it now for three weeks and found it very easy to digest, and no constipation.
Feeling brighter and more full of energy too - very much a winner.

It isn't often that you come across a product that genuinely works and does waht is says it will. Have found with Active Iron Pregnancy that it really does. It's real easy to take, it's real easy on your tummy, and it makes you so much less tired when pregnant.
Very happy to have been introduced to this.Would recommend, and have already bought more.

I started taking this but initially didn't see much of a change, I guess it takes time to have a real effect becuase after two weeks, I was feeling much better. Less exhausted.
I'd never heard of Active Iron Pregnancy before, had taken others with mixed results.
I was happy to take this one as it confirmed it was free for articifical preservatives sugars, gluten and yeast. And especially grateful to be able to take it on an empty stomach, as sometimes I just can't face breakfast.

Thanks for letting me take part. Would use again and recommend to others.

I’ve really struggled with my iron levels with this pregnancy – for some reason, they are really low even though my diet is good and similar to what I ate with my first and second babies. I’ve been taking regular ferrous sulphate and it had an awful impact on going to the toilet! Sorry to be so specific so when mummypages asked me to do this trial I jumped at the chance as one of the noted claims was that it is non-constipating. After taking it for a few weeks, I can confirm that to be the case which is a Godsend as the other ferrous sulphate tablets were very hard on my stomach too. Delighted with it and would recommend to a friend.

I despise taking supplements because they repeat on me – I need to take regular vitamins as I’m not a great eater and need to take iron too. I have tried lots of brands but like some of the other mums, they make me feel sick, repeat on me or make me constipated. I can’t win – I wasn’t going to sign up for this because I just thought it was more of the same. But when I read the background information on Active Iron I decided I’d give it a try. Especially as the baby needs iron for healthy growth. I was very surprised to find that Active Iron Pregnancy didn’t make me feel bad at all – I’m not burping it back up hours after taking it and I can still go to the toilet even taking it regularly each day. This is a big deal when you are having a baby – not feeling sick and going to the loo easily is like winning the lottery. I think this product should be given to mums on their first hospital appointment, so they don’t have to go through the pain that I went through before I found it. Will buy again.

I take iron all the time as my periods were low before I got pregnant and stayed the same when I fell pregnant in the summer. I found that the impact of taking regular iron supplements is that they really hurt my stomach, so I tried to balance my need to take iron with the impact of it on my tummy. This meant that I would frequently skip days and not take it as I couldn’t afford to feel sick. After taking ActiveIron I can honestly say that my stomach has been absolutely fine – it doesn’t seem to have the same bad impact on my stomach, and I can even take it first thing in the morning before I’ve eaten. This was handy when I couldn’t each much earlier in my pregnancy. Thanks for allowing me try it – I will continue to use it during and after my pregnancy. 100% recommend

I have been feeling bad for my first trimester but when the doctor did my bloods, he said they were fine and that I needed nothing. I was talking to my health nurse about one of my other children and she said that I should take a supplement if I’m feeling that poorly. She didn’t have one to recommend me – I was going to ask the pharmacist but then this came up in my feed and I thought it must be a sign. I’m so glad that I did – I’ve been taking it for a month and now feel so much better. There is no doubt that you feel more tired in first trimester, but I also find I’m tried in 2nd and 3rd too so I feel that taking Active Iron has made a huge difference to my energy and feeling better. I can’t thank you enough for including me. I’ve already bought it again!
big thumbs up from me
