Soooo delighted to be part of this group - we LOVE Ballymaloe in our house.
We normally stick to using Ballymaloe on sandwiches, and with a fry, I've never really thought about using it in cooking, but that all changed this week.
We received a lovely package with the two types of relish (smooth and chunky), the mayo and a pasta sauce. We had a pasta bake that first night, and it was delicious, really tasty.
The following evening we made quesadillas, using the smooth relish, and they were just divine. I often make quesadillas, and everyone loves them, but I have to say, adding the relish, makes them even better.
I've always bought Ballymaloe, and I will continue to do so, but it'll be more regularly. I would recommend.
Thanks again.

Thank you for letting us take part in this trial.
We like Ballymaloe in our house, and it's a regular on the table at lunch time or tea time, less so at dinner. But as it's gluten free, I decided to make a pasta bake - my daughter can't eat wheat or gluten, so I've adjusted our meals to accommodate this dietary requirement, and have one main sauce that is suitable, makes life that bit easier for everyone.
The kids loved the pasta bake, their feedback was: very tasty. Which is high praise from my lot. LOL I really enjoyed it also, as did DH.

We would buy again, and I would recommend to others. I especially like buying Irish, and it has the added bonus of being all natural ingreients. Well done Ballymaloe.

Thank you so much for choosing me to trial the Ballymaloe products. My family and I were delighted to receive the parcel of delicious foods which included our favourite relish both the smooth and the original. The Bolognese sauce was a life saver one evening when time was against me and got the thumbs up from my children and husband. Just added the mince and bobs your uncle. Another evening I added some of the relish to my homemade beefburgers and must admit it seemed to add a rich flavour. The relish and mayo were great additions to the various wraps, bagels and sandwiches I've made over the summer. And now that school is around the corner, there will be plenty more to be made. The relish which I've always enjoyed seems to just add something to an otherwise boring lunch. It's fantastic that this fabulous product is made from natural ingredients, is suitable for those with gluten intolerance and is virtually fat free. What more can you ask for. Now I've been watching the shelves in the supermarket for other Ballymaloe products and am looking forward to trying their steak sauce. Keep up thr great work Ballymaloe and mile buiochas. :)

So we love Ballymaloe in our house, but with this trial i wanted to take a different approach to the products i normally use to try get more out of them. Typically we use the relish on burgers, fries and poached eggs (my personal fave!) But i really wanted to extend their uses so here goes my trial.

When making marinara sauce for meatballs and bolognese for spaghetti, typically i add tomato puree, balsamic vinegar and sugar. However in their place i used the relish as it had all the components. It was a revelation,1 product in place of 3 and a new depth of flavour. It was excellent as a replacement.
I also did this when making pulled pork and bbq rib sauce. It worked so well and i loved the flavour!

We loved the mayonnaise,it was so rich and creamy it could easily be mistaken for fresh. I used it in a homemade potato salad for a family party and everyone asked what was different. Not much flavour additions were needed with it being so rich,a new family fave here!!!

We found the smooth relish a freat addition to our sauces especially for our toddler son. He calls it the special ketchup and loved it,he wasnt fond of the course texture of the original relish but the smooth was a winner for everything from potato cakes, quesadillas and chimichangas.

We combined the relish, mayo with a small amount of yellow mustard and made a great burger sauce for both chicken and beef! We thought the quality of the ballymaloe products really stood out on everything we used them with.

I did have one issue and that was the ballymaloe bolognese jar. It co tained chillie which was fine for the adults in our home but the toddler wasnt happy. We thought it was light and not sugar laden like normal jarred bolognese sauces.

The pasta sauce was one we used as a base for wrap pizzas with the addition of tomato puree. It had a lovely flavour and not too heavy where it was overpowering. Again it contained chilli so for us it was a no go for the toddler!

All round we really enjoyed the trial and putting all the products to good use in everyday staples like wraps, sandwiches but also using them as replacements to see how they worked. Ballymaloe has an excellent product range of high quality products that arent laden woth sugars, presevatives and additives. It is a brand we love and will continue to love and use! Thank you for letting us be involved!
