Hey ladies, let us know how you are getting on with the Tony Ferguson Weightloss Programme. Have you lost weight? How are the shakes/bars/soups tasting? How have the dinners been? Have you been struggling or has it been easy?

We would love to hear how it's going x

Week one over, i got weighed in today and i lost 7lbs in my first week. SEVEN POUNDS!!! half a stone....i am so delighted.Big smile
The week was tough going in parts but apart from the weight loss i have also discovered how many bad habits i have!! The first day i went to boots to meet Amanda, the advisor from tony ferguson, herself and one of the staff members from boots went through the program and explained everything to me. I have to say on monday and tuesday i was hungry, that was the toughest two days of the week, i felt empty! Then the headaches hit, These are a side effect caused by caffeine and sugar withdrawl, thankfully i have none since.

The rest of the week was hard but i got into it, cooking loads of veg, stirfrys and i also tried two things from the cookbook which was supplied.

I love all the shakes and bars but i wouldnt be wild on the soups so for my second week i have decided not to have the soups at all. I am not really a soup person so it is probably just me

Friday night i had a treat nite, i was in my friends and i had a bottle of wine and some microwave popcorn and some chocolate. To know i was able to have a treat night and still got good results was brilliant

Willpower is defo required for this diet, there was once or twice i had to leave the kitchen when my girls were enjoying their hot buttery toast, but saying that i have enjoyed my breakfast and lunch just being ready without me having to plan or do anything! Losing 7lbs in the week has spurred me on to really stick to the plan for the next 3 weeks. I have already past my 6lb goal i had set so anything i lose now in the next 3 weeks is just bonus!!!

I will keep you all posted!

Firstly I would like to thank @mummypages.ie and also Tony Ferguson Weightloss Programme for this amazing oppurtunity. I wasn't one of the four originally picked as one of the ladies had to pull out so I was given the chance.

I had my weight in, waist measurment and B.M.I calculated on Friday, in Boots where I met with Amanda Vaughn (Regional Manager) for Tony Ferguson. Amanda talked me through the diet and explained how the diet works.

So today Tuesday 13/3/2012 is day 2 and so far so good. I'm enjoying the Shakes, but I'm not too keen on the soups or the bars (theres still some flavours to try so I wont give up on them yet).

My first weight in will be Tuesday (Mondays a Bank Holiday) so until then.......................................

Thanks for letting me take part.

My starting weight was 13st6lbs. I met with Amanda from Tony Ferguson and Helen from Boots last wednesday 7th March. It was great when they explained that it's just not shakes and you can eat. Was a bit upset about only 1 coffee a day but I am feeling the benefit. I even managed to have a decaff skinny latte when I was out shopping the other day.

Not a lover of the tomato flavour soup thought it was vile but Helen and Amanda told me to prepare it a different way so I will try it again. (I'll have a bar or shake on standby just in case) The first 2 days weren't too bad, the tough part was shopping one morning and smelling all the lovely fresh baked breads.

I got weighed in yesterday and I am down 4lbs.Yay me! Smiling Not a bad start even with one slip on Sunday night when I had a little chow mein. But apart from that slip I have stuck to it with no treats. I have also started back at the gym and on those days I feel hungry but I can have extra fruit before and extra protein after so it works out well.

What I am finding tough is eating so often. I have realised what one of my problems regarding weightloss is and it's not eating regularly and then eating all the wrong stuff when I do go to eat. Also I have a bad headcold and my apetite is gone so eating is tough.Sick

The jelly is great in the evening time after the girls are in bed when I sit down with a cuppa (decaff coffee or fruit tea). I'd normally have a biscuit or chocolate. Not missing them so it's good.

This weekend is going to be a challange as I am going away but Amanda and Helen told me to enjoy the weekend and to remember I have have as much low GI veg as I like when I am eating out and also not to over indulge in potato or bread and also have foods with tomato based sauces rather than cream.

This morning I went to try the apricot breakfast but as I am fussy I don't like bits in cereals or yoghurts I had to revert to a shake.

So far so good and hopefully I can pass my goal of 8lbs over the 4 weeks.

Good luck everyone over the bank holiday weekend

Week 2 over, i had a weigh in this morning. I stayed the same Cheeky

I kinda figured i would as i had such a good weight loss last week so i am not too disapointed. I am still sticking to the plan although yesterday was tough for some reason but i think i was just having a bad day!Under the weather!

I got to speak with Amanda at my weigh in who was really supportive so i am back on the right track again and feeling motivated to lose another 3lbs over the next few weeks.

Having bars in the morning time, they are enjoyable with a cup of tea and then i have my milkshake at lunchtime with my steamed veg, salad or stirfry.

Have tried one or two things from the book, i love the frittata and the veg sausage curry and i plan to try a few more things during the week. So fingers crossed, i will stick at it and i will let you know next week how i get on.

Well week one over, so I had my first weigh in today (which I was dreading as I had a few slip ups at the weekend ie: St Patricks Day and Mothers Day) so I thought that I had undone what I had achieved during the week. But thankfully I've lost 3lbs and 2.5" off my waist :-) which I'm over the moon at.
Once you get the first 3-4 days over you really start to feel great, your energy levels start getting back to normal.
I'm starting some Boxersize classes in my local leisure center so that should also help with the weight loss and toning up. First class is tomorrow night so I'm really looking forward to it.

So until next week.............................

Kind Regards

Therese

Hey,

Had my weigh in today and yay another 1lb down. It was unexpected as I was away the weekend and hadn't stuck to the plan but when eating out I was a lot more conscious about the choices I was making when eating out. So I had mostly meat / chicken and veg at dinner no starter, no dessert and decaff coffee, so proud of myself as I always have dessert and coffee. I did have some brown bread with soup at lunch and breakfast. Also had a couple of glasses of wine over the weekend too. We went to Eddie Rockets for lunch one of the days and I went for their low GI option which was sweet potato fries. They are very yummy, I have made them before but would have baked them.

Back on track since yesterday. I have tried the curry flavour soup and it's not too bad, reminds me of the Knorr curry rice but I prefer the shakes and the bars. I do have some of the Tony Ferguson desserts to try but think I'll hold off until the weekend.

Find I'm not craving crap as much so I'm happy with that too.

Hi,

Almost a week late, thanks to a sick baba, but here is my week 3 update. Went last wednesday to meet Helen and Amanda, was nervous last week as my physio had ordered no walking / gym so apart from my normal day to day things with the kids I was pretty much sitting on my backside. Was delighted when I saw that I was 5lbs down. My BMI is also reducing too which is great.

I have decided to keep up the Tony Ferguson plan after the trial is finished as it is working for me and I have 2 weddings to go to this year.

Again this week I am nervous about being weighed in as I had 3 parties last weekend. I was only a little bold until Sunday when my aunt had my favourite sandwiches and I went a little mad. I had m head shaved last Friday for the Irish Cancer Society so maybe that will be a pound off LOL.

My goal weight for the trial was 12st 10lbs and I was 12st 9lbs at my last weigh in so I really hope I haven't undone the good work with my boldness last weekend.

Well I overdid it the weekend and I put on 2lbs Very sad even with having my head shaved. So haven't reached my target for the 4 weeks with those 2lbs. Lesson is watch what you are eating. I was sitting chatting and not watching the amount I was stuffing my face with. My weakness is my Aunties savoury sandwiches. Must keep away from them! There is still a positive, I am 8lbs lighter than I was 4 weeks ago.

Anyway I have decided to keep up with the plan for a little longer. Amanda had asked me to speak at a customer event in Liffey Valley, hope she still wants me to do it after yesterday's weigh in. Hopefully next week I'll be down. I know this is for the trial but I will keep you all posted on the progress (positive thinking).

Only thing to get through this weekend is a visit to my Dad's.
