Week 2 feedback

Week 2 over, i had a weigh in this morning. I stayed the same Cheeky

I kinda figured i would as i had such a good weight loss last week so i am not too disapointed. I am still sticking to the plan although yesterday was tough for some reason but i think i was just having a bad day!Under the weather!

I got to speak with Amanda at my weigh in who was really supportive so i am back on the right track again and feeling motivated to lose another 3lbs over the next few weeks.

Having bars in the morning time, they are enjoyable with a cup of tea and then i have my milkshake at lunchtime with my steamed veg, salad or stirfry.

Have tried one or two things from the book, i love the frittata and the veg sausage curry and i plan to try a few more things during the week.its a case of cook or starve really as you would get so bored jus having a plate of veg everyday. cant beleive all the new things i am trying, So fingers crossed, i will stick at it and i will let you know next week how i get on.

Hi there

had my third weigh in yesterday and i was down another 2lbs so thats 9lbs in total in the 3 weeks which is just epicBig smile

There have been some tough days but i have been strong and stuck with it, and i have made some great positive changes with my attitiude towards food. Normally on our weekly food shop we buy 2lbs of butter but in the last 3 weeks we haveonly used 1lb in three weeks!!!!!!OMG. I am shocked at how much butter and bread i must have been having previsouly

I am scared to go back to regular eating but i am going to try and keep with some of the changes. I am going to cut back on bread for sure and up the fruit intake, i cant believe how much i dont crave bread anymore, I nver thought i would look on friut as my snacks for the day but the difference its made is amazing. I feel great. Once you get past the first week it gets easier. I am defo going to do the plan before any special events coming up.

I made the creamy chicken curry frm the book this week, it was amazing, so thrilled with myself and i didnt even miss not having it with rice, i felt just as full after!

until next week....Tickled pink

Sorry for the late reply just been so busy this week In a tizzy

I had my second way in on Tuesday 27th. I've lost another 3lbs, another 1" off my waist and I've got my B.M.I down to 25.9 Big smile. I'm over the moon.

I
find it really easy to stick to the diet during the week when I'm in
work, but it can be a bit of a struggle at the weekends when i'm out and
about.

The Boxersize was great fun and hard work (was sore
for a couple of days after). Went to a Dance step class (very like
Zumba) and I really enjoyed it, so I'm going back again Monday.

So until then.............................

Week FOUR feedback

Hi all,

Week four over, cant believe the 4 weeks are up! I had my weigh in this morning with Carmel in Boots in Bray and i had lost another 3lbs!!! So thrilled. Overall on the plan for the 4 weeks i have lost 12lbs!!! Big smileBig smile

I am so thrilled, i cant believe it, i feel great. Overall my BMI has dropped from 36.9 to 31.4 which i am so shocked about and delighted. Everything fits me great! On a personal level i have lost 3 stone 2lbs which is just amazing and doing the tony ferguson progamme has really pushed the motivation up a level and i plan to keep up the plan for another 2 weeks to try and hit 14lbs loss on it.

My overall goal for the four weeks when i first met with Carmel was to lose 6lbs and i have doubled that which is a great result. Overall i feel great and so not at all bloated anymore. I dont miss the carbs or crave them half as much as i did and its proven how i really dont need to rely on them in every meal. There is obvisouly tough days, himself and the kids having sausage sambos on brennans bread the other morning was tough but i just reminded myself how good i feel and how i was wearing jeans that hadnt fit in a long time!!!OMG

Easter this weekend, i plan to have one egg of my choice on sunday and then go straight back to the plan....Love

until next week, happy easter....

Hey,

Had my weigh in today and yay another 1lb down. It was unexpected as I was away the weekend and hadn't stuck to the plan but when eating out I was a lot more conscious about the choices I was making when eating out. So I had mostly meat / chicken and veg at dinner no starter, no dessert and decaff coffee, so proud of myself as I always have dessert and coffee. I did have some brown bread with soup at lunch and breakfast. Also had a couple of glasses of wine over the weekend too. We went to Eddie Rockets for lunch one of the days and I went for their low GI option which was sweet potato fries. They are very yummy, I have made them before but would have baked them.

Back on track since yesterday. I have tried the curry flavour soup and it's not too bad, reminds me of the Knorr curry rice but I prefer the shakes and the bars. I do have some of the Tony Ferguson desserts to try but think I'll hold off until the weekend.

Find I'm not craving crap as much so I'm happy with that too.

Week 5 ( I've been sponsored by Tony Ferguson for 2 more weeks)
22/04/2012 17:39
Had weigh in no.5 on Tuesday April 17.
Could not believe my eyes when I looked at the scales to see that my weight stayed the same. I'm absolutely over the moon as I really feared that I had gained back a couple of pounds. So here's to my final week, I'm really going to try and stick to it. Hopefully there will be some more weight loss then for my final weight in.

Until Then..........

Had my 3 week weigh in on April 3, only lost 1 lb but it's still 1lb in the right direction. My Bmi is now 25.6.
So overall I've lost half a stone, which is fantastic.

Week five and six feedback (sponsored by Tony Ferguson)
27/04/2012 22:06
Hi,

I had said in my previous posts that I would continue with the programme and Tony Ferguson sponsored me for 2 more weeks.

Week 5 had my best news. My BMI had reduced from 36.1 to 33.3, my waist was fown 1.5 inches and my weight was down a total of 1st 1lb. I was over the moon because I had eaten a lot over the Easter weekend.

Week 6 was not so good. I was up 1lb, my BMI was up 0.1 and my waist was up an inch SadBut it was my time of the month so Helen and Amanda said that it could be fluid retention as I had a similar result last time I had my period and to look at the positive, I was still 1 stone lighter than I was 6 weeks ago.

After the weigh in Helen and Amanda went through the move to the transition phase of the programme and said it was normal that I was feeleing a little nervous moving on. After the consultation Amanda brought me to the snack section in Boots and showed me what to look out for on labels. The big lesson is: It might be marketed as the healthy option but it is not always the best option.

Over the course of the 6 weeks I have learned a lot about food choices and portion size. I also now find that junk food makes me queasy a lot of the time. Result Big smileI now order a skinny decaff latte when out. I am feeling much better with the change in eating and less caffiene.

I do have the odd bad day where the munchies strike and these are days that you need to be prepared for. I wasn't prepared yesterday and I ate like a pig. My brother in law had a great quote on his fittness business facebook page "Fail to prepare, prepare to fail". It is so true.

I'm looking forward to the weekend of the 11th to 13th of May when Boots Liffey Valley have a Tony Ferguson in store event. It's on from 12 to 3pm over the three days. I am going to be there and hopefully will get to meet some of the other ladies of the trial too. Must find a decent before photo, I never thought to take one specifically for this.

I didn't get to my weigh in this week but I used the scales in the gym this morning and it looked like 12st 5lb so I am hoping that is the case and that 1lb from last week is back off. I have passed the goal for the trial but my ideal weight is 9st 4lbs so stilla few stones to lose. I hope that for the weddings I have in May and September that I can buy outfits a couple of sizes smaller than I am.

Thank you Mummypages for selecting me to take part it was the kick I needed to get started
