Festival ready hair

If you are heading to a festival this summer you need to have festival ready hair. Whether you are taking the kids along or just heading off with your other half, these styles will ensure you don’t have to spend ages doing your hair and you will be able to go out and enjoy the music.

Top knot
Pull all your hair back really tight and tie it in a top knot. Put on a pair of sunglasses and you’ll be able to enjoy the music or run after the kids without getting hair in your eyes.

Straight
Simply use your hair straightner to straighten your hair and pull it to the side. Accessorise with a flower hair band or trilby. You’ll be the most stylist mum at the gig with this style.

Thin plaits
Another great one for keeping your hair off your face. Pull your hair into a deep side parting. On the side of your hair with the less hair create a simple plait. Add some mousse to the other side to give your hair more volume.

Plait upstyle
This one involves hardly any effort. Simply part your hair in a centre parting, plait each side, pull them up and wrap them around your head. Secure with bobby pins.

Messy look
Us mums love this look. Put your hair into a centre parting. Leave loose and add mousse to give it some texture. No need for a hairbrush.
