Just three weeks ago, a baby girl was born on board a flight to Manila, and now another tot has followed in baby Haven’s footsteps.

Footage of cabin crew tending to a newborn baby on board a Buraq Air flight from Tripoli to Niamey has amazed people all over the world this week.

The footage was shared by national newspaper The Libya Observer, after Buraq Air announced the news across its official social media channels.

After going into labour, the mother was helped by cabin crew who went on to deliver her baby son.

In the video footage, captured by passengers, air stewards are seen cleaning off the baby and wrapping him in a blanket.

In tribute to the amazing cabin crew, the mother is said to have named her newborn son Abdul Baset, in honour of the plane’s captain.

Both mother and child are said to be doing well after their ordeal.

According to local news reports, baby Abdul has received a very special gift on account of his headline-grabbing entrance into the world: a lifetime of free flights on Buraq Air.

We’re glad to hear that Mum and Baby are both doing well after what we’re sure must have been a frightening situation.

SHARE to amaze a fellow mum-to-be today.
