Michael Douglas could not contain his excitement when he found out he was going to be a grandfather.

Just last year, the legendary eighties actor welcomed his first granddaughter into the world.

Now, little Lua is eight-months-old and is bringing joy to the whole Douglas family.

One can only assume the Academy Award winner got his acting abilities from his father Kirk Douglas.

The iconic, Golden Age actor has won multiple lifetime achievement awards as well as two Golden Globes.

But nowadays, the 101-year-old enjoys his days spending time with his family and playing with his great-granddaughter Lua.

One of these precious moments was captured by Lua’s father Cameron, displaying the love that spans across four generations.

The great-grandfather is embracing his elderly age in slippers and tracksuit bottoms, cosying into a recliner chair, but his large sunglasses remind us of his Hollywood status.

Lua returns his loving look and reaches her hand out to his while a smile lights up the family man’s face.

There is no doubt of the pure joy that radiates from the Spartacus actor as he studies Lua’s darling countenance.

Cameron adores the relationship between his daughter and his grandfather and happily captioned the photo: “LOVE”.

The eight-month-old is the daughter of Cameron and his girlfriend Viviane Thibes, who have battled thick and thin together - surviving his seven-year stint in prison for drug-related charges.

Since his release, Cameron has grown closer with his own father and stepped up to be a loving partner and dad to his little family.

He named his little Lua Izzy after her great-grandfather, who has known as Izzy Demsky before later changing his name upon joining the Navy in WWII.

The photo truly embodies the family’s deep sentiment for one another, across all generations.
